I’ve been visiting CHOP ever since I moved to town over 10 years ago. They used to be a favorite place to visit and a great option for when you wanted to stay close to home but lately the prices seem to keep rising and the portions keep getting smaller. The quality of food is decent, it’s nothing special, but not terrible by any means and the vegetables are always fresh. The one big thing they have going for them at this point is their house dressing, it is by far my favorite dressing and perfect on their chef salad, the large of which tends to be loaded with meat and cheese and is overall the best value for your money. Love that it’s available to purchase by the bottle as well as I always order extra when I go. They do offer gluten free pizza last I checked but I have yet to try it as their pizza is not my favorite. During the summer they also serve soft serve ice cream on a connected patio so it’s a great place to stop in if you find yourself walking around downtown with a craving for something cold and sweet.

This is a good place for take out, but very poor value. I recommend this restaurant to most people … but I think they could try to be more competitive with prices and selection. There are many other places to go in surrounding areas and I think they try to milk being the only store in town too often. But … overall, decent food, friendly staff :)

The pizza is not great. Feels outdated. The fries where also sub par. I would not classify this as «good pizza»

Love the pizza here, every time I visit my grandma I come here! My mom loves the subs and my grandma loves the calzones!

We stopped at CHOP for an early dinner very recently. This is a casual family pizza restaurant. which is order at the counter with overhead menu boards and self serve booth seating in the bright dining area. There’s also outside patio seating available(during nice weather). The menu offerings include pizza(4 sizes), subs, salads, pasta, seafood/grilled dinner plates, ice cream, Coke fountain drinks, and beer & wine. Their house dressing is available by the bottle. They also offer lunch specials(2 slices & soda) and special offers. See the menu and specials at We ordered the posted special which were 2 small one topping pizzas(10″) and 2 small fountain sodas for $ 9.95 plus tax, which was a pretty good deal for 2 hungry diners. The pizzas(sausage and pineapple) were ready in about 10 minutes, since we were the only customers here around 4PM. The pizzas were pretty good. Let’s just say, they did not skimp on the toppings, especially the cheese which was really loaded on there, and a bit greasy. The crust had a good crispy on the outside and soft inside. This place would get 3.5 stars overall, but rounding up due to the great special offered and we were both full. Diagonal street parking out front
