How is there not ONE trash barrel at this flea market? Mostly junk but a good walk through. Need more food vendors.

Seriously disappointed(maybe better on a Saturday than a Sunday?). Lots of overpriced junk. The good stuff was the same price you’d find in an antique store, so why bother dealing with a $ 2 parking fee, dust and sun? I’ll head for Wickford where there are a few nice antique stores with fairly reasonable prices(especially the ones outside the historic downtown). But, If you ever get to New Jersey, check out Columbus Market– now that’s a flea market.

Worth a stop! You never know what you’ll find! The dealers are great, most will give you a bargain.

I’ve been to this flea market many times over the years & have found it to be so-so. Sometimes I’ve left regretting having to pay $ 2 for parking & other times I wish I had brought more cash. Right now I’m kicking myself(my wife is too) because I nixed a purchase of a bench for our home that would have worked out perfectly. The last few times we’ve gone the selection was pretty poor. You will definitely find lots of junk here but it might be the junk you’ve been looking for as was our case today. It’s definitely heavy on household items that look like they could be worthless or land you some cash on Antiques Roadshow. My favorite vendor is the one who has household supplies. They’re like a gypsy Bed Bath & Beyond. There’s also DVDs, books & beach/RI themed t-shirts too. I think out visit last year was after Labor Day & the place was kinda quiet. Today(mid-June) the place had the most vendors I’ve ever seen. Rumor has it that it’s the largest(& best) flea market in all of the Ocean State. Quanity doesn’t always equal quality though. If you’re in the area on a weekend during the summer it’s definitely worth the trip to check it out.
