Jenny’s is a great little shop. Great ownership, great subs(especially the chicken parm). Pizzas, especially the largest are a great deal. I’ve had great luck with delivery and with ordering on site.

Impeccable low effort pizza and subs. This is my go to for when I get home late, am too tired to make anything and don’t feel Iike dealing with the whole foods take out circus. Which is pretty much all the time. Don’t make it complicated.

Terrible. I ordered a sandwich and a salad to be delivered. I literally live down the street from this place, but I waited over an hour and the food never came. I called and was told the food was on the way, but there was no apology or explanation for the super long wait. I waited 15 more minutes and finally cancelled the order. I don’t have time for this. If they are not able to accommodate the lunch demand, they should notify people when they accept orders.

Best place in Charlestown to get my favorite Chicken Parm sub(on a braided roll), or a Steak & Cheese sub. Order a couple of pizza’s before the game or if you just don’t feel like making lunch or dinner call them up. Or go online now! Who would’ve thought Jenny’s would be taking orders online when it was on Main & School Sts. A longtime neighborhood favorite!

Great calzones. Fast delivery. Great staff love the questions on the board when you go pick up! Best option in Charlestown.

Growing up in Brooklyn, New York City, New York I’ve only found 2 places outside of Brooklyn where I’ve liked the pizza. Jenny’s is one of the two. The prices are very reasonable, the people are kind and clean. The restaurant is clean as well. My co-workers had pizza, steak bomb, chicken parm and chicken club sandwich and non of us complained about our meals. We all really enjoyed it.

Overall good food and decent portion sizes(their calzones are massive!). We order from here all the time, and would probably order a lot more if they were open past 8pm and on Sundays. Good local pizza shop!

Jenny’s is such a cute pizza shop in Charlestown. It looks like a charming little house from the outside but is a full kitchen. My fiancé and I recently moved to Charlestown and went there and felt so welcomed. The owners and guys that cook are always so nice when we come in. the subs are really good and we love the spicy fries too.

Look up «hole in the wall restaurant» in Webster’s dictionary and you’ll see a picture of Jenny’s Subs and Pizza. Boy is it small, but the food is solid. They have no seating and no big menu when you walk in, but it didn’t seem like many people there needed a menu. Clearly popular local lunch spot, good sign. For such a small place they really crank out the food very efficiently. Somehow they manage to have 5 people behind the counter working at once, which is not remarkable in and of itself, but when you see how small the place is you will understand. I had a BLT, and I was not disappointed. The pizza looked very tasty, but I cant attest to that yet. Good place to get quick lunch takeout.

I have no idea if the food is any good because they say they deliver, and I’m only 1.1 miles away but they don’t deliver to the Holiday Inn. Typical Boston attitude. These people suck. I come here for work and it’s always the same crap. I have no choice but to eat at restaurants and now they will never get my business.

This place is great and the people are very friendly and welcoming. I tend to go with a buddy of mine, and the people there are always asking how our day is going and whatnot. They really make you feel at home, which is something other places should learn to do… So far i have only tried their pizza and chicken, and both are absolutely outstanding. Delivery has always been speedy and every time i go for pick up, the order is also quite timely. I recommend you give them a try, at least once.

Jenny’s is my go to spot for lazy nights. The chicken parm sub is by far the best I have ever had. I recommend requesting extra sauce. Pretty speedy delivery but I usually pick up. Haven’t tried the pizza though(because it’s hard not to get the parm).

I couldn’t tell you why this pizza is so delicious. But there is something about it that is intoxicating. Cheap, fast, and delicious, a triple threat.

We are from out of town and was told about this place from another café that was closed. I’m glad he did! Great sandwiches and great service. He was so nice and chatted with my family while they made our lunch. Really great hospitality and we felt very welcomed. It will be part of our memories of our trip. Thanks!

This place has great sandwiches for the price. It has a neat«towny» atmosphere. I am not originally from the area so I sometimes have difficulty understanding the thick Boston accents. The chicken parm sub is extremely good. I have had a few of their other subs which are pretty good as well. I look forward to trying their pizza. They are always friendly and have pretty fast service. I sometimes wish they were open a little bit later on the weekends. Check them out on Thursdays for their sandwich throwback special.

I don’t get it. Maybe for the price and maybe for the area this is a good place. That’s actually why I gave it 3 stars instead of 2. Charlestown is very much a wasteland in terms of food, especially anywhere near the MGH centers. But it’s pizza. Pretty standard, boring pizza. It’s not beautifully charred with amazing cornicione or a particularly unusual style. It’s not terrible. But it’s not incredible, and I suspect that a lot of A+++ reviews are from people trapped in Charlestown(send help!) or suburban residents who fetishize the vaguely blue collar feel.

We keep trying to support this place and they keep letting us down. Consistently undercooked, oftentimes incorrect and last night a cold and very late order. We will no longer try. We give up. Good luck…

After tonight, I have to knock it down to 2 stars. I just had the worst eggplant parm sub that I’ve ever eaten in my life. Tasted like chemicals, and after my first bite I noticed the eggplant was greenish in color. Underripe or molded? I pray to god for the former. I’ll probably continue to order, because the rest of the food is consistently solid(but don’t order the wings, either). But never again will I get the eggplant parm. Never. Again.

My office orders from here once in a while. The pizza is average, nothing spectacular, and the other stuff is standard fare for a local pizza/sub shop. I got a tuna wrap today and was disappointed. too much mayo! bleh… I’m guessing the chicken salad would be equally runny, too, so order with caution. (btw, order order took well over an hour to arrive from down the street…)
