Will I go back – most likely not.
Will I talk to friends about it – not in a positive way.
Why not own a business that people feel good in and want to come back to?

The store is extremely well merchandise with a wide assortment of perfect hostess gifts. A definite go to place for coastal inspired treasures.
However I don’t think I will ever go back to the shop. I have many choices where to spend my money and I don’t think I’ve ever been to a shop where all three of the owners/​staff were not just rude BUT Nasty!
I want to shop in a happy environment not support people like this.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO FURIOUS IN MY LIFE!
We had breakfast at Phil’s Hungry Haven and decided to take a walk down to Simple Pleasures after breakfast. HUGE mistake.
My husband and I had our three children with us 7, 8 and 2. We were followed around the store by a woman nearly the entire time. Talk about making people feel uncomfortable!
While we were upstairs in the children’s area my two year old had picked up a few toys, ANYTHING my daughter picks up she gets. Period. This horribly rude stalker woman walked up to my children and said «give me those toys kids». While she did say thank you after taking them, it was completely uncalled for and extremely rude.
I had fully intended to purchase the items my daughter was holding. One of my older children had a stuffed whale they brought to show me because we have the same smaller one also. She took that too.
My older children are fully capable of picking up items and placing them back where they go. Even if they weren’t it’s your job as an employee to clean and straighten back up after customers leave.
I will never ever go back to this place and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know to stay far away. Unless of course you like being stalked by a rude item snatching woman while you shop.
It should be called Simply Awful.

Offers great variety of merchandise. It ranges from flowers to pottery and statuary. On the inside, the store has jewelery, clothes and house décor. Truly a perfect gift store for those visiting and those who live in the area.

This place is great for finding anything related to the beach or seaside. I love to come here and shop for a friend or relative — you can always find something you love even for yourself or your home. Check it out if you are in the neighborhood. I am going there again today!

Hands down best gift shop!!! If you like beach décor this is a perfect place for you. It’s a large gift store with an upstairs do not miss the upstairs and hit both staircases as the art work is usually displayed here. Great for art, picture frames, unique gifts, neat furniture (you will not find full sets usually just accent pieces), beach décor, cool garden items, and Vera Bradley. We get a lot of company in the summer and this is a must stop. Also the gift wrap is very well done.
