I met some ladies doing plein air paintings and they gave me a heads up to come and see the exhibit at Circle of the Arts in Charlevoix.
The current exhibit features a lot of different mediums on the theme of cars. I highly recommend it. As you first walk in be sure to look up to catch the East Jordan glassworks display (ringer for Chihuly-​style glass). The gift shop is full of neat goodies as well.
The car exhibit lasts until sometime in July 2011 and then the plein air group is going to exhibit. The plein air group meets every Thursday somewhere about town, during the summer months, watch for them.
