Food is tasty, but pricy. Sushi is so so, but soups are nice. Large portions of food which is nice considering the higher than average price compared to similar Asian cuisine in the local area.

Needed some quick lunch today so I came here for their lunch menu. I had Miso soup and their Sushi plate (9 pieces I believe). It was filling but not inspired. I was hoping they would have a lunch buffet but they sadly do not.

After looking on Unilocal for somewhere new to go I discovered this little hidden gem
my son loved the sushi it was very fresh and delicious I’m not sure about the past reviewer’s but we were very happy and we love sushi so we can tell the fake from the real and this was the real deal!
It was regularly priced for a sushi spot and even tho the place is very small and we were the only ones there I would definitely go back again

We were the only people in the place, so the service at times was a little slow considering. But the sushi was good to me, and I don’t think it was super expensive. I guess that is all relative depending on the area, but this seemed to be in the same price range as your average sushi restaurant They were out of a couple of the things we ordered, which was disappointing, but I guess understandable since I wonder how busy they ever are. I loved that they had good sweet tea, although I guess its a southern maryland thing to have :) The waiter refilled my tea on time, since I was tearing through it! We had the seaweed salad, salmon, tuna, mackerel, white tuna, eel and shrimp teriyaki (kid’s meal). All seemed pretty tasty and on par, except for maybe some of the vegetables in the shrimp teriyaki meal. I would definitely go back.

Ordered a Tuna Roll and they literally put canned tuna Fish on top of some rice! Yuck

Great food but their only waiter needs a class on treating people correctly. I don’t mind paying the price but I expect to be treated right!!!

Food is crap. The maki rolls fell apart. The udon and egg noodle curry was like bad dish water. We sat for 20 min before someone took our drink order. When food came no napkins, chopsticks or forks. Everything took forever. No drink refills. This place is an over priced pit. Ill never eat here again. 2 hours total and im still sitting here waiting on a check.

First timer. I took my family to this place around 6 pm and we were the only customers. We were still being seated when we were questioned for drinks. And the drink menu isn’t with the food menu!
The service was okay. The food isn’t cooked in front of you like most hibachi places but when it did arrive the plates the food looked awesome! Also tasted great! I was expecting to be able to at least have a beer with dinner (I knew that I wouldn’t because I read previous reviews) and also expected the food prepared in front of us. Kids love that kind of thing. Also, prices are pretty high for a non chain place.

Liked the sushi here! We always did Beijing next to it and it was just so overpriced and I watched the guy making the sushi go from touching raw fish to answer the phone and then right back to the fish. Gross. But AJ Hibachi we gave it a whirl last weekend and I think this is our new date night place. I think I could possibly even bring our special needs son without having to worry.

Had the whiny kids in tow and they wanted the usual suspects when it came to food. Instead of dealing with the fast food wars, we came across this gem. The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff was very attentive I’m pretty easy, just refill my drink They did this and more. While the portions weren’t huge, the food itself was solid and served within 10 minutes of sitting down. I tried to act cool and use chopsticks but that lasted about a minute. At least kids aren’t whiny anymore
