The Enchilada Verde is a favorite choice of both my wife and I. I am a creature of habit and my rating is based as such. The waiters are very accommodating and diligent. Management seems to have a handle on things. I do not recommend the Tacos al Pastor as my wife recently ordered this and was disappointed by it. The bacon included in this entrée was all bacon fat. All in all probably the best restaurant in northern St. Mary’s County, very affordable and good overall.

It could be much better. But here in Southern Maryland it’s all you get. Not much flavor, or spice. Three dinner order to go and one tiny bag of chips, disappointing.

Walking in we were not sure what to expect. We were seated quickly and were promptly brought chips, salsa and white sauce. Haven’t seen white sauce since I lived in Oklahoma. Was completely amazed when I saw the menu as it was huge! Not only that but I found they had tamales and other specialties I used to love eating when I lived in Texas. The service was good. The food was excellent! I had they Chicken Spinach Enchiladas that are on special for the next week. I only ate 2 of the 4 that came on the plate. But are debating coming back later in the week because they were that good! And the tamales were huge and delicious as well. We will definitely be back as I think this will be our go to for Mexican!

The food here is better than any Mexican restaurant around here. Tinga chicken is one of my favorites and the fajitas are great but they never come out sizzling for me I love that sound and three times no sizzle but very good. Maybe next check-in. The waiters are friendly and the salsa is perfect.

Not bad Mexican food for Southern Maryland. Owners are very friendly, but staff is hit or miss. I usually order food for takeout after a bad server a couple of years ago.

I order taco salad the beans were not that great. To drink I had orchata but it had to much milk it was expensive. We will not be back there to eat. The restaurant looks nice and clean just the food it wasn’t good.

Everything on the menu is great, I get the cheese sauce every time. Service is usually great and trivia on Tuesdays is always something fun to do!

This place is like my favorite type of restaurant… which is to say, the sort that isn’t afraid to use A LOT of cheese. I basically ate a brick of melted cheese. It was delightful. Honestly though, this is a nice, low key strip mall Mexican place. I recommend it.

I’ve been here a few times and the first was better than the second but overall good food. The service is friendly. The chips this last time could have been a tad fresher and my enchilada was just luke-warm so that could have been warmer. Rice was good. Overall a pretty good place to eat.

I want to love this place, but it’s rather inconsistent. On our first visit, we were seated in a large booth(we were given a choice of tables, which is awesome). Our waiter helped us quickly with drinks and chips and dips. Chips come with salsa and a white sauce that’s like sweet ranch. Nothing special. The chips were not hot but seemed fresh. My veggie fajitas came out very quickly. They were huge and nicely cooked, not soggy or oily. The side plate with rice, beans, guacamole and lettuce was a nice size. The meal wasn’t very exciting, but it was filling and reasonably priced. My husband’s food was slightly delayed, but his steak tampaquena was huge. It came with a large steak, beans, rice, tortillas, guacamole, and another bean dish. He said it was very tasty. Service on this visit was very good. Our second visit was underwhelming. Our waiter was not personable and drink refills were not provided as needed. This time, my food was delayed until after my family had finished their entire meals. The waiter provided updates, saying it was coming, but it was still slow. My family liked their meals but nothing was a standout. I’ll probably return to see if the first, positive visit or the second, negative visit is more the norm.

This place seriously has it all. The food is delicious, authentic, reasonably priced and served fast and fresh. The staff is all super friendly and welcoming. The building is clean and always quickly accommodating to any size party we show up with. I wish I could give it more stars! This is definitely a family favorite!

I had a much better second experience. I ordered the Red Snapper and it was pretty awesome. Our waitress Dreama was the bees knees and made the experience very enjoyable.

I haven’t seen many Mexican restaurants since coming to MD, though I’m told I must not be looking very hard. I hear a lot of people talk of this one so I decided to try it out. The two times I’ve been here, the service could be a little better, but still not too bad. The chips are good, salsa could be spicier, and the other dip they bring out I cannot stand(Looks and tastes like a ranch or sour cream dip). I ordered a chicken dish, which came with onions peppers and mushrooms, with tortillas on the side. I absolutely enjoyed it, and makes me pretty full, which is usually hard to do for me at a Mexican restaurant without eating lots of chips and salsa afterwards. I would like to come back and try more dishes for an official review of their food, but so far it’s been great. I will be back.

Food is good, but not authentic. I have a huge gripe regarding the pricing. I ordered a chicken torta(sandwich). I asked for jalapeños and hot salsa added to the sandwich. The bill came out to over $ 11. I said, how is that– sandwich listed at $ 7.75. They obnoxiously charged $ 3 for added jalapeños and salsa. He actually said«Everything has a cost». He literally charged a 40 percent surcharge for a few jalapeños and salsa. Unbelievable. So many people from our medical center go there. I’ve started telling them what banditos they are over there. Never going again.
