This store moved to this location within the last year. It was south of the Farmers Market but is now north of the farmers market. The sausage is just as good as it gets. I swear! It could be labeled as low fat if there was a label. I get the hot, i pound packages (mild sausage also sold). I buy 4 ($ 5.50 each) at a time since I have no reason to come to Charlotte Hall except to come to the St Mary’s County Farmer’s Market and here. They also sell other meats plus fresh vegetables and fruits. I don’t have much else to say except that you will not regret making the time to come here. Did I mention that the sausage is a local thing?
TIP: While you are in the area stop by McKay’s Grocery store. Go to the deli counter and buy some «Southern Md Stuffed Ham». This corned ham is stuffed with cabbage and kale in place of the bone and is a local speciality that is shipped around the world.
