Ciel Gallery is approachable, welcoming, and just plain fun to visit. I make a point to stop at Ciel pretty much every time I do the SouthEnd Gallery Crawl. I’ve seen everything from fiber art to photography to paintings to found item sculptures and more showcased here, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the variety of price points available. Oh, and I snagged some great Christmas gifts here this year, too. Grandma got a beautiful stained glass mosaic and Sister-in-Law got a pretty pair of handmade earrings from Ciel Gallery.

Since apparently my other review was put on their old location even though I visited this location, I will post it on this location. This is my kind of gallery because I love glass work and this gallery focuses on glasswork and mosaic pieces. There is a studio in the back where art is born! Also loved the piece in the window made from plastic water bottles. Definitely need to come back to this place. There was a piece that really interested me but with going on vacation in a couple weeks, I stopped myself from buying it. Friendly staff here too!

Began and ended my South End Gallery Crawl(1st Fri of each month) at Ciel. They are constantly rotating their shows(primarily mosaics), so it’s worth stopping in once a month. Their new location is a big improvement over the old space.

Dropped in during the SouthEnd Gallery Crawl and was pleasantly surprised. Ciel is unpretentious and really quite welcoming. The gallery had a few really neat pieces ranging in scale and price from around ten dollars for handcrafted pins using vintage buttons to large mosaics in the hundreds. The most striking pieces are in the windows, glass mosaics that catch the light. The gallery also has space in the back for classes. If you’re in the neighborhood, give it a good half hour to see all the stuff.

Recently moved from Camden, Now located next door to Lark & Key. We checked it out Friday and it is a great new space, located where Modern Fabrics used to be. Looks Great! Good Move! This Gallery has a Mosaic specialty and the current exhibit is Food Inspired!
