I applied and signed a lease 3 months before my move in date to hold the apartment that I fell in love with. They gave it away. Did I get refunded or even an apology? Nope. And it was the only one available in a 8 month timeframe.

I am currently living here and purposefully made an account just so I could warn future renters about living here, especially if you are a pet owner. Let me just get started with the pet issue — Circle WOULD be a great place to have a pet, if you didn’t have to later put your pet through therapy because they are deathly afraid of thunderstorms or sign of rain. Any single time there is a drop of rain, the most high-pitch, ear-piercing fire alarm goes off… multiple times. There is no way to avoid it. Once when it had gone off 5 times in the middle of the night — we attempted to disconnect both fire alarms, and even cut the power to the entire apartment — that didn’t even work. The sound comes from a speaker in the side of the wall in your bedroom. Besides the thunderstorms, just about once every 2 weeks it will go off for a long period of time, last night was 2 hours, in the middle of the night. Most people with children are forced to leave their own homes and go to a hotel for the night. Our dog is now completely traumatized from living here, and if I could break my lease right now without having to pay thousands of dollars, I would do so in a heart beat. Last night I spent an hour trying to get a hold of anyone associated with Circle. The man I ended up talking to was based out of Atlanta, GA and ended up just agreeing with me that it is absolutely ridiculous. Today they are purposefully setting off the fire alarm for 3 hours to test it during 1 – 4. My husband and I have full-time jobs and so now we have to make special plans for our dog so she wont be sitting in the apartment for 3 hours going deaf. Secondly, the«great amenities» — Circle features a long list of amenities on their website, while ranting and raving about it when you come in. I would say 90% of those«amazing amenities» have been non-functional for months. –The 24-Hour Security — At one point there would be a security car that would sit in one spot in the parking garage for weeks at a time. After living here for a year and a half, I have never ever seen a security guard. –The 24-Hour Maintenance — Used to show up and usually not fix things, or make things worse. Ex. Our A/C went out and it took them almost 2 weeks to fix it. The maintenance man came in, installed a standing A/C unit. Installed it incorrectly so that it was actually sucking in the 110° air from outside. Brilliant. — The two outdoor grills… yeah… they have been broken for now over 6 months and take about an hour to manually light with a hand-held lighter(that you have to bring yourself). — The Starbucks coffee machine — I do not use it, but according to every person I’ve talked to they don’t either because it rarely is actually full so you can actually get coffee out of it. –The amazing gym — Usually one of the machines are broken so you can’t exercise on them, but almost every single one of them you cannot actually use the TV on because it is broken, or the audio output is broken. They have been like that for over a year now. Currently all of the elliptical machines are currently broken. Although most amenities are semi-functional maybe 50% of the time, that is still completely unacceptalbe for the cost of living in one of these apartments — and it is topped off with the lack of sleep and physiological damaged caused to you, as a resident, and any pets or children that may be living with you.
