Dunkin’ Donuts

Three cheers for Dunkin’ Donuts!
Having grown up on my beloved DD & then moving to SF & having none, what a joy it was to come to Charlotte on business & rediscover these delicious treats
Having *just* opened this location, there is still construction evidence everywhere… boxes stacked up, things still packed up but the important thing here is that the donuts are in the case!
I saw boxes for Munchkins so hopefully they’ll soon be available as well — but for this morning, the donuts more than sufficed & in fact I still have lots left over
Favs include:
* Blueberry Cake
* Chocolate Cake
* Old Fashioned
* Boston Cream — custard filled!
* Chocolate Cream Filled — powered sugar outer cake filled w/​super-​sweet chocolate cream
Their donuts are cakey & sweet just like I like them… not your gourmet teeny donuts or your greasy, air-​filled Krispy Kremes
No bakery on site here so no guy telling me it was «Time to make the donuts»
But it sure was time to indulge & indulge I did!
