Kendra is incredibly talented and lights up any room with her sweet bubbly personality. She’s not only my stylist who works magic, but she’s a dear friend. She did a spectacular job on my hair and make up for my wedding day! She went above and beyond that day with taking me pictures, being by my side the whole day doing whatever I needed, keeping me from having a melt down when a vendor messed up my chair ties, staying through my reception even though she had studying to do, and to reapplying my lipstick right before I walked down the aisle. She is amazing! I couldn’t have gotten down the aisle without her! I felt like a princess all day!!! I highly recommend her!

Kendra Spann is the only person that I TRUST with my hair and I don’t even live in the same state where her salon is located. It’s so funny to read wonderful comments regarding her excellence and the few negative comments that appear just to be spiteful. I personally know how hard Kendra has worked from Hair school to Hair Educator to Hair Shows, to Hair Salons and then to opening up her very own salon. I am a Naturalista who transitioned over 4 years ago. I did the big chop and then I let Kendra deal with the rest. She has schooled me on the right products to use which resulted in me being a researcher on my own. I ended up growing my hair back out (healthier than ever) — gaining an amazing curl pattern from the natural hair products I was recommended to use from her — and let her do the rest. From time to time she puts PM Shine in my hair to give it a nice lighter healthier tone to it because she knows I dont like to dye my hair. She recently put a Balayage look in my hair we named Honey Almond Brown. If you dont believe Kendra is one of the best — just take a look. As a Black Female — I salute you Kendra Spann. Take that bad comment people. =P

I would not recommend this salon or it’s owner, Kendra Spann, to a black female getting a relaxer. I experienced balding and breakage. When I showed it to her, she provided no response or treatment plan other than to watch it. When I shared with her what a dermatologist stated was the issue (relaxer not being washed out thoroughly), her only response was for me to pay $ 85 for a protein treatment. Lol! That didn’t happen! She’s pretty good with Paul Mitchell products, but she gave me an Affirm relaxer. Kendra’s attitude was horrible when I was sharing my concerns. Kendra even started making comments about my sister’s hair, whom she only met a time or two when she brought me to her shop (she never did her hair). I was extremely shocked by her behavior. I was embarrassed for her as a person and a business owner. Kendra’s in her early 20s, so I’m assuming she still has to mature in her customer service skillset and how she deals with her imperfections.

I don’t have a hereditary hair condition. I have two sisters and two brothers. Only my older sister has an issue with her hair. Her comment about my sister was derogatory. I went to a dermatologist without a recommendation by Kendra and they stated that the relaxer chemical was not washed out thoroughly. I didn’t have an issue when I started using Kendra as my stylist and the hair has since started growing back. As for her customer service skills… I think that speaks for itself. Patronize at your own risk!

Kendra is a masterful stylist in addition to being a wonderful friend and a ray of sunshine! She knows the ins and outs of cut and color very well as a Paul Mitchell educator. Additionally, she always asks me exactly what I am envisioning and talks me through her plan before taking any action on my hair. I would definitely recommend trying out Kendra’s skills and getting to know her sweet personality!

Kendra is a very good stylist. She gives awesome shampoos and is also a great colorist. Her salon is very personable and in a great location. I would definitely recommend her for all your healthy hair needs.

I had a great experience going to Kendra about my frizzy hair. Her technique to wash, dry & style were on point. She lets you know what you need and give you advice based on your hair type & questions. Very knowledgeable in her field of work and knows what she’s doing. If you’re looking for a stylist I’d recommend her!!!
