Honestly, best special fried rice I have tasted in a long time. Second time ordering and getting sesame chicken and the mixed vegetable soup for two. Friendly staff.

The food is good and cheap. Perfect for me. But they really need to work on whoever that young girl is that answers the phone. Her attitude is horrible!!! I think it’s the manager’s daughter. She interrupts you and is very rude. It’s kind of ridiculous. Not a fan of the customer service.

Once and done. Have eaten Chinese for many years, from north to south, east to west, and around the world, so trust me when I say that this is NOT a place to visit. Giving them 1 star is too much. First off, service is terrible, rude and nasty counter help who want your money but not willing to smile or even attempt to be pleasant. Simple things like, please add the homemade mustard for the egg rolls. Did they include it? No. The egg foo young was over cooked, greasy (dripping) and flavorless. The sauce was not even correct. The Moo Goo Gai pan, Sha Cha Chicken and egg rolls were flavorless, greasy and what wasn’t eaten, which was most of it, was thrown out. Not even left over worthy. Gave them one chance and they blew it so bad we will never return. If you like to eat nasty food, go here. Chung King in a can is better.

I ordered this for delivery when I was staying overnight at the Comfort Inn. The food was delivered very hot and in less than 15 minutes. The spring rolls weren’t very good and had meat in them which I wasn’t expecting. The Hunan chicken was good, pretty spicy, and came with rice. The rice was pretty bland, but nonetheless on par with other similar restaurants.

I’m being serious when I give this restaurant a 5 star! I tried a couple of Chinese takeout places in Charlotte and Fortune Cookie is by far my favorite! For the value, you can’t beat it. My husband and I love ordering it on Sundays and being lazy. Our go to is egg drop soup (one of the best I’ve ever had), Hunan chicken meal (chicken, baby corn, water chestnuts, peppers, broccoli and mushrooms in a spicy sauce) and the chicken and broccoli meal.
The meals are $ 5.95−7.95 depending on what you get and they come with fried rice and an egg roll. The meals are huge! You will easily have leftovers. We always say we want to split a meal, but let’s be honest, that never happens.

Called in a takeout order and it was ready within a reasonable amount of time. Overall, decent place to get cheap Chinese food. I went with the Szechuan Chicken, fried rice and a spring roll plus a ton of duck sauce. Downside: the fortunes in the fortune cookies were boring.

My wife and I have lived down in the Ayrsley area for two years now, and Fortune Cookie II has definitely been our go-​to fix for almost the entire time. We tried two other places, and they just didn’t match up.
The value you get here is unreal. Most of the combo meals are around $ 5.75 and come with fried or white rice & an egg roll or crab Rangoon. The best part, aside from the quality, is that you can usually make two meals out of it!
Their egg-​drop soup is delicious, so we always order that so split and start with. Their crab rangoon are also a good starter, as are their coconut shrimp! For main courses, our favorites are the Broccoli Chicken, Hunan Chicken, Chicken lo mein, or the scallion chicken (add broccoli). You seriously can’t go wrong. We tend to get things with the steamed chicken, but the fried chicken with the scallion is delicious.
You can’t go wrong here. The service is extremely fast. We usually order on the way and it’s done by the time we get there!

Nice place on the inside and run very well. I ordered takeout for lunch and it was ready right when I arrived. Always a plus! Thing to remember: they only take cash for orders $ 5 and under.
I ordered the chicken & broccoli lunch special that comes with an egg roll (or crab rangoon — your choice) and choice of plain white or plain fried rice. I chose the fried rice and my gripe is that the fried rice just seemed like lightly colored white rice. In my experience, fried rice usually has egg, onions, peas, and carrots. This has none of that. Very bland and verrrrry plain. On the other hand, the chicken was really good.
I’ll probably try them again because they’re near my workplace and can satisfy my chinese food craving. I’m interested in seeing/​tasting their vegetable, chicken, and house special fried rice.

After trying many local Chinese restaurants, this has been the one we’ve gone back to the most. The portions are wonderful, and they’re always extremely quick while still maintaining a quality level of food. The fried rice leaves a little to be desired as it’s very plain and not what we are used to from NY or AZ, but otherwise the food is pretty good.

This is one of my favorite places in Arsley! The food is pretty good and pretty cheap!

Terrible, awful, no good, very bad food. My husband and I picked up the general chicken and cashew chicken two nights ago. It was borderline inedible. The rice was the only decent part. The eggrolls were complete mush on the inside like they had been sitting out under a heat lamp for days. To top it off, massive stomach pains followed overnight and lets just say Imodium was my best friend yesterday. We do not recommend this place. Now I know why the food was so cheap. By the way it’s two days later and I still feel like I have a brick in my stomach.

Friendly delivery and excellent chicken teriyaki. I do wish my fortune cookie wasn’t so mean…

I tried the General chicken and it is now my favorite item on the menu! I like to order it extra crispy with light sauce. Majority of my visits here are for the fried chicken and fried rice. Yum, Only reason why I give them 4 Stars is because the white rice could be better.

Very poor customer service. I have been waiting for an hour and a half for my delivery and STILL have not gotten it! This business is not worth the time or energy. Pathetic!

No exaggeration here. Delivery took 1:35 min. That’s 1 hour and 35 min. They told me 45 min. Food was OK and obviously not hot, but warm enough for driving around in delivery car for likely an hour. Ordered sun evening 630p delivery to Doubletree. You’ve been warned!

I eat here a couple of times a month. Take out is fast and good size portion. The food is cooked when ordered so it is fresh and hot. Scallops have sand so I avoid anything with them. Everything else is recommended.

Food is terrible. Chicken was definitely frozen and just microwaved. Lo mein is a 4 out of 10. Will never order from here again.

This is my favorite Chinese food place in my area. They are reasonably priced and they have the best fried rice (totally rhymed by accident. The best part it that if you live in the Ayrsley/​Whitehall area they deliver!!! You have to spend at least $ 15, but the are very fast!

Chinese food on a Sunday afternoon… Yes please!
Fortune Cookie II left a menu on my door a couple of weeks ago and my boyfriend and I decided to give them a try. After several unsuccessful attempts to find good Chinese food that would deliver in my area, I kept my fingers crossed that this place would be a winner… and lucky for me it was awesome!
The staff was amazing when I called they confirmed my address and then asked for my order… I asked what she suggested if I wanted something spicy and she gave me several options which was very helpful. I was finally ready and ordered an appetizer of Crab Rangoon, Honey Chicken and the Firecracker shrimp.
They quoted me 30 minutes and thanked me for my order… and true to the time promised our food arrived in 30 minutes. And the delivery driver was such a sweetheart! He greeted me with a smile and thanked me for the order three times! Now that’s what I call excellent customer service!
The Crab Rangoon appetizer was delicious! Very crispy on the outside and the filling of cream cheese, and crab meat was great. The sweet and sour sauce was a perfect compliment with each bite! They were an excellent way to start the meal.
I had the Firecracker shrimp with fried rice and it was very good. The shrimp was prepared in a sweet yet spicy sauce with diced onions. I loved the flavors in this dish! Mixed with the fried rice, every bite was simply delectable!
The boyfriend had the honey chicken with steamed rice, it smelled delicious! I didn’t try any but he said it was delicious. With the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. And based on the fact that he finished all of it I’m going to say he would definitely recommend it and order it again.
Overall I was super pleased with the meal! And after so many unsuccessful attempts it’s nice to finally having a «go to» place for quick Chinese delivery. They now have two new customers!
