Jamba Juice

I’ve been coming here the past month while I took a summer class at UNCC. It was great to see a Jamba so close since I much prefer it over Smoothie King. All of my experiences were pretty much the same which was nice, and they got me in and out quickly.
I really like their new Tropical Colada Refresher – it has a great strawberry and pineapple flavor with slightly less sugar than its smoothie counterparts. I usually added some whey protein to it which made it a little creamer which was nice. I’d recommend it.
Service was always consistent and always friendly. I’d go back if I’m ever by UNCC again.

I love this place. The staff is always courteous and very professional. Today I had the Kale with mangos and ginger. Spicy sweet combo but it was good. See you next time.

I came here this past Saturday with my boyfriend and had a pretty lousy experience. But I am writing this review because the manager was polite and listened to my experience without making excuses. This assured me I would not have a repeat experience of Saturday. Nonetheless this is a great place I go mulitiple times per week (sometimes multiple times per day)! (Not including Saturday) They normally are respectful and more than happy to accomodate special orders for allergies and preferences. I will continue to go to this Jamba Juice despite the one bad experience, because the Manager was hopeful that it would not happen again.

Was very excited to see a Jamba Juice open in the University area as I have one near home in Concord. This review is after the third visit to this location.
The first visit was great and as expected from my previous experience with Jamba Juice. I had a wonderful Banana Berry with a vitamin boost and it was delicious.
The second visit was a little off-​putting. I had ordered Oatmeal and the server told me it was not yet ready and should be ready in 10 minutes. I told him that was not a problem and waited. After 15 minutes he told me it was still not ready and needed another 5 minutes. I had somewhere to be but told him I would wait. After ½ an hour I finally got my order (with a banana berry smoothie) and had to take it to-​go as I was running behind, when I got a chance to eat my Oatmeal I found that it was partially undercooked and lacked seasoning. This was steel-​cut and requires more time than the normal old-​fashioned. The server offered other substitutes instead of waiting but honestly I was looking forward to a good bowl of Oatmeal! At least my usual banana berry was delicious as always.
I am writing this review after my third visit and I think I will just stick to the Concord/​Kannapolis location from now on. I went inside, waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the front counter, and no one showed up. I took a peek around the back room and didn’t see anyone. Unsure of the reason but I can’t stick around all day.
I give this 3 stars, mainly because I know the quality of JJ and what potential this location has, but right now it’s just not there.
