McDonald’s

Obviously, we all know that McDonalds is not great food, and not typically the best when it comes to service. Therefore, my review will be based on my experiences at McDonalds in general.
This location is pretty new. I’ve been inside once, and it was pretty clean. Service was average. However, the drive through is horrible. Every time. My change has been wrong the last 2 out of 3 visits. You would think someone who works at a cash register all day could at least count correctly. The last time, my bill was $ 6.50. I handed the cashier $ 21.50, thinking it would make things easy and I could get an even $ 15 back. Nope. I get $ 14.90 back. She tells me I only gave her $ 21.40 as I look at my change wondering what the hell is happening. I gave her 2 quarters! How do any 2 coins come out to 40 cents?!
As far as the food goes, it always seems to be old, and never hot. No matter what time of day I go. I wont visit this location again. I would rather drive to the Rivergate location. I hope nobody there is expecting to get $ 15 an hour and maintain such a poor quality of work ethic.

This location has 4+ signs advertising «BREAKFAST ALL DAY!». I pulled up to the drive thru at 11am today to order an egg McMuffin and was promptly told by the voice in the box «we are on to lunch» so, wait, this location does NOT sell breakfast all day? Is this a case of false advertising that I smell?
Or is it just a problem with an as*hole employee again?

Well McDonalds if you are going to sell breakfast biscuits at night, you should really use fresh biscuits. We all thought we were going to break out teeth in them. Total let down. I felt like Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation rehydrating his turkey with gulps of wine.

Avoid this place at any cost. It doesn’t even matter what time of day you come or whether you go through drive thru or walk inside, customer service does NOT exist here. But incompetency DOES. And it begins with the managers, who I’m not sure if they can even spell or read incompetent. And the staff, they play around, don’t take their jobs serious at all, are always joking around and never doing their job… the correct way! I only go here because it’s the only one in Steele creek. So 1 lousy star.

Always so slow to get anything… doesn’t matter if it’s morning or night. 15 mins waits… only good is the location…

It’s a new and clean McDonald’s. Clean bathroom, the crew was pretty good at taking and filling my order. It’s not hard to mess up a McChicken and small fries with a bottle of water. A-​OK.

They always screw up my order. I go here for convenience but man do I always regret it. Simple task (no salt on fries) a separate fry spatula should be used because salt from the spatula still gets on the fries. They are slow with orders and not sure why because I only got there for a happy meal or 10 piece nuggets for my brother.

You know what the food is about, so I won’t comment here on the typical McDonald’s mystery food. Sometimes they are the only thing still open, so it is marginally better than nothing. This is a new McDonald’s, so I thought maybe they would be turning over a new leaf, but alas, no. Employees so involved in their own horseplay that they were oblivious to customers. Semi literate employees taking orders that couldn’t understand I wanted part of the order for here, and part to go. Neither one of the ketchup dispensers would work, and when I told the employees no-​one took care of it. Lastly, the restroom had urine all over the floor, and it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Also, the soap dispenser at the sink was broken off the wall and just lying on the sink. And McDonald’s is wondering why their profits are falling???

This is the new location near the Charlotte Premium Outlets. I try to steer clear of fast food, but I’ll make the occasional coffee or breakfast stop here. I have never encountered a more friendly staff at a McDonald’s. They are super nice and eager to please. The line moves quickly in the drive thru, and the restaurant is very clean.
