I enthusiastically recommend! We had a wonderful, fun, delicious pizza extravaganza the night before our wedding. We all had a GREAT time and no one could get over how tasty the pizza was. Jeffery’s family is so wonderful and provided wonderful service to us all. Jeffery was wonderful and easy to work with from beginning to end. Friends of ours at the wedding came directly from traveling through Europe all summer, Italy, etc., and they said the best food they had all summer was in Vermont, particularly the wonderful pizza! Jeffery’s creations were wonderful and he made sure that everyone got what they wanted, catering to all dietary restrictions and tastes. Jeffery was always responsive to our emails and questions as the day approached. The day itself was well organized, laid back, and — the food was all simply delicious. Jeffery and his family provide a uniquely wonderful service. The prices were incredibly reasonable and we could not have been more pleased with everything.

Driving down Greenbush Road, you might notice the sign, hanging in front of a typical-looking house: BRICKOVENPIZZA. We did, several times, and being city-dwellers, our interest was piqued. What was this? A take-away joint? A secret restaurant in someone’s back yard? The answer: both. Walk up the driveway and you’ll see the tent with the oven in back, blazing away, the proprietor, Jeffrey, out front and ready to take your order. A couple of tables for those wanting to dine al fresco. The menu sports numerous«specialty» pies as well as the traditional varieties and a build-your-own. My wife and I opted for a black olive, basil, and bell pepper pie, and it was delicious — the cheese bubbling(but not overwhelming), the ingredients fresh, the crust baked to perfection. The pies are big enough to adequately feed two, or a single hungry individual. Prices are reasonable. Bottled and canned beverages are available for sale(no alcohol). Parking is available(where else?) on the side of the driveway. I’m still not entirely sure what possessed this gentleman to build and park a brick oven in his driveway, but take heed, pizza lovers — della Volpe’s the real deal.
