Like others who have posted reviews, I had a consultation a few days before my appointment with the stylist I had been going to for some time since I wanted to change my color a bit. I showed her photos of what I wanted and what I didn’t want. She was confident that she could deliver the results I was looking for.
Like others, after several hours in the salon (and her first attempt to fix my color), I left in tears with ORANGE hair. She tried to fix it again a couple days later when she was back in the salon and even brought in numerous other stylists to consult. While the addition of low lights did slightly improve my color… I’m now going to have to go somewhere else to try to fix the mess. I look like have have had three separate colors put on my hair in horizontal bands… near the roots is still bright orange. Disappointed that I had to pay nearly $ 200 for this hot mess and now have to go elsewhere and pay again to get it fixed. Stylist clearly was in over her head on this color process.

For the price… The service was not up to its standard!!! I’ve been to aveda salons for years and this has been the worst one! My stylist was 20 mins late and made me sit while she cut her next client. And they didn’t even care I walked out without a next appointment. Owner couldn’t care less.

Tai is great!

I’m new to Charlotte and a friend at work recommended Pur Salon to me, and let me tell you… it did not let me down! Tai did an AMAZING job on my hair!!! I first went to her 5 weeks ago when someone else in this area had messed my cut up. She fixed it perfectly. Today I had my first full color and cut with her. I just love her attention to detail and her eye with color. Overall, the entire experience was excellent. I had nice conversation, good back ground music, glass of wine, and great cut and color. I’ve already booked my next 2 appointments to ensure my slots. Oh, && an eyebrow wax in 2 weeks

I had a consultation two days before my appointment where I showed the stylist what I wanted done to my hair. Confident that she could achieve the color I wanted, I came to my appointment really excited.
Long story short, I left in tears. I went from ombré to blue and green. I have photos. My stylist worked really hard to get out the blue after my mom mentioned how terrible it looked. It was nothing like what I wanted. My stylist told me it was because I had box color a few years ago. Which I believe and understand. Like I said, she worked really hard to get the blue out after my mom and I got upset. The receptionist that was helping my stylist was so rude. She actually got mad at me and walked away refusing to help me all because I didn’t like the blue in my hair. I couldn’t believe it. All I did was ask how long it would take to get the color I came in for (white/​gray).
If you’re in the service industry and someone doesn’t like your service, deal with that professionally rather than making a snide comment and refusing to help.
Overall, my stylist tried hard to fix the mistake but I am incredibly disappointed with my hair and the receptionists terrible attitude. I did appreciate the effort my stylist took to correct the color, truly. I’m sorry to have to write a bad review.

I’ve had fun here in the past, and have gotten gotten a few wonderful cuts and color with the sisters. However my budget changed, and my appts needed to be farther apart and less costly. I quickly found out you get crap service if you don’t spend money at this salon. The last time I went in they wouldn’t even fit me in for a trim, even though they have a big sign outside that says walk ins welcome. I’ve since gotten my budget in order and have started taking my business (and my money) elsewhere.

Still growing my hair out…5 months later…

Wonderful experience with great people, so professional. Tahira Iqbal is the best one. Highly recommended.
