Beware, this place is crawling with bed bugs. Even scarier than cleaning all my things and possibly spreading them to other people, the front desk person just shrugged it off. DONOTSTAYHERE.

What did my wife do? She booked us here on the way to Ohio. rooms were very small and old looking. Got in at 10pm and left at 4am. Lucky we were on our. way to hunt camp so this will do. At least I had my truck in front of my room. Over all it wasn’t that bad, but that’s me. There was a small fridge, flat screen but no desk.

Avoid this place. My son and I stayed here last night after his flight coming into Charlotte got in 5 hours late. It was after midnight and we knew we’d have to be on the road first thing in the morning so I went cheap rather than pay $ 120 for a HIE. Made a reservation thru Priceline on the parking shuttle and got there around 1am. There were two people wandering around the parking lot with no shoes and backpacks. And it appeared that some of the guests are permanent residents. The office smelled bad and I conducted business through the 1″ thick glass barricade. Was too tired to care at that point so we stayed. The room was so small that one of the two double beds was up against the a/c unit. Speaking of… The a/c was not turned on in the room so it was like 90 degrees in there when we opened the door and it took an hour to cool down til we could sleep. The bedding looked and smelled clean, thankfully. But the room was smelly and dusty. We slept fully clothed, didn’t use the shower or towels and just rolled out of bed when the sun came up and left. So I suppose for the $ 50, we got a decent enough nap. But I have expected my car to be broken into in the morning. Not that we would have used it, but the pool was closed. The receipt I got upon checkin has a few notes at the bottom saying no refunds after 15 minutes… and says to call 911 for emergencies.

The photos they posted do not do this place justice. Their photos make the place look like a ritz Carlton in comparison. My wife and I were forced to snatch up any room possible after massive flight cancellations in the area. While at least we were able to get a room instead of sleeping at the hotel, this place was dirty, run down, smelled terrible and neither my wife nor I felt the least bit clean to even use the shower in there. The refrigerator wasn’t even plugged in and when I opened it to see if it was cold I was hit with a skunk like odor We got into the hotel by 9 pm after our canceled flight and couldn’t stand to be in there past 4:30 am the next day. If you have ANY other choices on places to stay, that would be my recommendation

Get what you pay for. The hotel is older and the room smells a little musty. The beds are not very comfortable and the rooms are also very small. The staff however is freindly, but spend the extra 10 dollars and stay at one of the nicer hotels in the area. Also, the hotel has a lot of low flying airplane traffic as it is close to the airport. Had to keep the tv on all night to drain out the noise of the planes
