Chris is an awesome trainer who gets results. He keeps the workouts new and challenging. I have seen a huge difference already.

My wife and I joined Studio51fifty 2 months ago and it has been amazing. Chris finds different ways to challenge us each workout, motivating us to push our hardest and keeping the workout interesting by incorporating new exercises every day.

Chris keeps it interesting and knows what he’s doing. Will push you hard and try to keep you healthy. Highly recommend.

I was running 4 – 6 miles every day and thought I was relatively fit until I met Chris at Studio51fifty. The workout he had me do seemed simple and I thought seriously, this is it? By the end of the session, the muscles I had neglected for years made it clear they were comfortable with their red headed step-​child status and had no desire to participate in my quest for fitness. As I crawled up the steps when I got home I used the time to reflect on my ignorant belief that just because I wasn’t fat and I could run 6 miles I was fit.
Shortly after I started going there I needed to have surgery and Chris was very accommodating in modifying the workouts for me on my return and that is when he introduced me to Pilates as well. Control, concentration, coordination, precision, and breathing… I can multi-​task with the best of them but this proved to be more than I was ready for. While trying to focus on what my legs were supposed to be doing and what directions to move my arms, Chris was cuing me to correct my form; scoop your belly, shoulders down, shoulders back… and I need you to do one more thing. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? He tells me to breathe. I do it because it seems important. Now I’m breathing and I look like a turtle stuck on his back trying to flip himself over because I forgot what my arms and legs were supposed to be doing but I’m sure this isn’t it. When I finally get my arms and legs right again, I hear scoop your belly, shoulders down… Even after I had run out of patience with myself, to my surprise Chris was still very patient with me.
Chris definitely knows his stuff. Chris won’t just let you go through the motions of an exercise; he makes sure that your form is correct so you’re getting the most benefit for your effort. I would encourage anyone at any fitness level to give him a try. Whether you are an experienced athlete or have such basic skills you need to be cued to breathe, Studio51fifty has something to offer you.
