I had a long layover on my way to New Orleans, so I investigated my options and decided to treat myself to a manicure for the road. I’m so glad I did! This salon is clean, bright, and only uses OPI nail polish – fantastic! I was taking awhile to decide on my colors, and a few of the staff came over to help. They were really nice about it! I know this might not be the case, but they seemed to really care what colors I picked. Job well done! The lady who did my nails was careful with my stubby little nails and very thorough. I got a plain manicure, but I’ve had it for a week and a half and it is only now beginning to chip. I usually go through them a lot more quickly than that. The next time I’m in Charlotte, I may have to treat myself again!

Paulette is an AMAZING massage therapist. The rest of the experience was lacking. It’s noisy as you constantly hear the beeping passenger transportation and hurried/stressed travelers run/walk by. In addition the music is abysmal. Not relaxing classical, not even crappy standard new age enya. I kid you not, but lynyrd skynrd was in rotation. Nothing like hearing ‘sweet home Alabama’ while you’re getting a therapeutic deep tissue massage– and a day after a traditionally African American church was set on fire in this town.(Insert sarcasm): Classy. Way to go Charlotte airport spa, why not just roll out the david allen Coe… Oh and it’s in an airport so you’re going to pay twice what you would at a standard spa, but we pay that because we are in need and appreciate the service… Please try to create a more ‘spa’ like experience, or call yourself what you are-hole in the wall quick stop with staff too good to be wasting their talents here.

Trisha is awesome! I cannot believe I just had the most amazing table massage in the airport. So much better than eating lunch. Can’t wait to get back to Charlotte. Ask for Trisha!!!

I have been here several times over the past few years. I find the nail techs to always be friendly, professional and skilled. This is not a cheap corner nail salon — It is much cleaner and well run than the typical nail salons I would frequent when I lived in NYC. I have had massages as well and never regretted the decision. The last time I was I met a woman who frequents them as often as twice a month when she travels for work.

I wish I could give this place zero stars, but unfortunately, that’s not an option. The one saving grace was the very kind African-American nail technician that assisted me in the beginning. Management, however, has no concern for ensuring the integrity of the services provided. I paid $ 90 for a pedicure and gel manicure, PLUS a $ 20 tip, on my way to a four-day trip in Mexico. After ONE day at the beach, my toe nails began to chip and EVERYSINGLEGEL nail peeled from the tip. By the time I flew back through Charlotte on my way home less than four days later, I had NO color on my nails and 80% of my toes covered. That’s ok. Shit happens. And when shit happens, you expect a business to take responsibility and rectify the situation. Unfortunately, THIS business is not concerned about it’s reputation OR return customers. After politely explaining my disappointment in the service, the manager explained that no returns were available, which was annoying at best since I never asked for a refund of the $ 110 I spent at her establishment. Instead, I simply asked for a touch up of my toe polish and a fresh coat of gel polish, no grooming necessary. No dice. The manager offered me a discount on services. WHY?!? Why would I pay more to restore myself to the place I should have been after paying $ 110 for services no more than four days earlier. I will NEVER return to this«salon» again and I recommend that NOONE ever patronize them. They clearly use inferior products. No wonder they refuse to stand by their work.

I received a great treatment here. The price is high, but it is an airport. I paid 3.99 for water that is apx 2 $ less back home. So, spa services are in line. I came with knots in my shoulder and I left without them. I did not have any pain and was relaxed during session. I have had therapists get crazy and cause pain and knots still lingered-not here. Great job! Glad to bave stopped in :)

Professional and clean. Nice, friendly aesthetician and atmosphere. Very good pedicure for $ 45. They also offer manicures and various massages. Next time I may actually be happy about a long layover in Charlotte! And opt for a massage! Aah a foot massage. .. Can I get a later flight?

I was stuck in Charlotte for nerly four hours. Fortunately, this airport has a very good spa in the terminal where you can relax. I ordered the 60min deep tissue — which wasn’t too deep, but it did take my mind off of flying. The terminal spa also offers a military discount. The cost is a bit more than I would like — but the spa is inside a busy airport — so I can’t complain too much. This spa offers a variety of different services, from quickie back massages, to footwork, facials, and up to a 90 min massage. Check it out!
