This is the worst store in charlotte. The employees are arrogant jerks. Take your business elsewhere. The employees will treat you as if your beneath them

Not always terrible but Front desk girl can’t explain account fees in a way that makes sense and doesn’t give eye contact. Also told me one thing them changed what she said without clear explanation. Contrasting information from what I was told at a previous store. She did say have a nice day as I walked out.

I have been a Verizon customer for years, and love that every time I call or visit the store I get great service. Having an old version iPhone, I stopped in yesterday to see if I was ready for an upgrade. Unfortunately I was several months away, however, I was on an older plan so my plan was updated, saving me $ 5.00 a month, which also made me eligible for an upgrade. After selecting my new phone, Josh Story, helped upgrade my phone and transfer all my data over. There were some issues with my Contacts and Photos, but he was able to solve and by the time we were done, everything was migrated smoothly. In addition, I decided to exchange my old iPad for a new iPad mini, again with a great offer. I would definitely recommend stopping by, even if you may not be eligible for an upgrade, as they seem to have offers all the time. The Manager and Josh are great assets to the Verizon Team.

I know this person doesn’t work in the store– but Joane who is a Verizon Online Customer Service Pro, based out of Charlotte, was sensational. She made glad to be a Verizon customer– the essaence of grace and professionalism. Brilliant.

The people at the store seemed nice and helpful, and it was nice getting a phone in store and set up as opposed to waiting via the mail. However, that’s where it ends. The saleswoman talked me into using a $ 100 promo for the phone I purchased, which allowed me to get $ 100 worth of accessories which she told me would be charged to the account but IMMEDIATELY refunded. A couple weeks later, there’s an extra $ 100 charged to my account. I went into the store and the manager said to just not pay it, and it would come off the next billing cycle. Well, new billing statement was just issued and surprise, surprise– it’s still on there!

Verizon completely disabled all of our business lines, at no fault of ours, because of a missing document on their end. This egregious mistake on their part has cost thousands of dollars in the last 24 hours of not being able to operate, not to mention numerous people and their lives not being able to move their homes on moving day. The damage to our reputation will take some time to build that trust back. Repeated attempts to fix the issue were met with; certain necessary departments only operating during business hours; requests for obscure documents; no alternative options nor any higher authority available after hours and addition 24 hours repair times. I’m grateful that I’m not an on-call Doctor with such a verizon problem. The issue was triggered by a low level sales rep not doing his job. A visit to the store, I was met by Matthew Stokesbury who unfairly felt the full brunt of my frustration. The problem was corrected a few minutes before I walked into the store with an online rep, but Matthew was helpful and attentive with others minor issues. Another manager, Michael, went out of his way to offer help when he saw the frustration. That’s what great service looks like, folks. Verizon could be a standard in excellence if they worked on their processes; mistakes that cost in many ways.

Verizon continues to have awesome service, but this location has something not every store has! An employee named Ryan! He is one of the most helpful people I have ever encountered from the numerous stores I have ever been. The location of the store is fantastically placed in a shopping plaza with tons of food choices! The parking lot is huge and the area is very new build. This store is located directly across the street from Brueggers and Carribou Coffee. The selection of same brand devices is somewhat limited, but there is a large variety of brands. Don’t come in thinking it will look like an Apple Store. They also have a neat machine in the back of the store that allows you to purchase accessories without having to be waited on or stand in line. The lines can be long at this location, but they are quick to hand out bottled water and turn on some cool music! I suggest making a reso prior to arriving or you may have to put your name in and go grab a quick bite to eat!

I rarely go into a cell phone store, but my phone stopped working. I went to this location and the girl working got me in quickly. Within a few minutes a new phone was on the way to me and I received it the next day since I have the warranty on the phone. It was great customer service and was not only painless but also somewhat pleasant since the girl working was so nice.

This is one of the worst Verizon stores out there and poss the worst in Charlotte. Save yourself time and stress and head up to Northlake Commons or Sharon Corners at Southpark. This one is always busy and when it’s not, it is still slow. I have had 3 bad experiences here, so I don’t know if it is a poor hiring/training issue or what, since the rest of the organization seems to offer fantastic service(via phone or other store). I went in to upgrade my phone and they didn’t ask any questions about what I typically use my phone for, but seemed to just push the iPhone as the phone du jour, so after I got it home and was working with it I realized it was so poorly suited for me that I returned it within 14 hours(and lost some $$ on it). I was so unimpressed he didn’t take the time to understand my needs and match me up to the right phone. So I gave up for a few months and when my blackberry was really dying and my hubby and I were trying to figure out if we wanted to switch to T-mobile which was cheaper or stay with VZW we were trying to compare plans, phones, etc. The guy who helped us was a total d! ck and basically said«Sure, switch.» Huh? I’ve been with you for years and you don’t even put up a fight? Well, we didn’t end up switching service but we did switch stores. This toxic store is such an anomaly, so don’t let it ruin VZW for you.

I’ve bought two phones from this store and both times I’ve found the staff to be friendly, willing to help you out and determine your needs for a phone and then help you decide one what phone is right for you. 2 years ago, I bought the Blackberry Storm2. This week, I upgraded to the iPhone. The sales staff practically does everything for you… transfers all your contacts over, helps you set up your email and holds your hand as you walk out the door. I never felt like a valued customer at the other 2 big cell phone companies as I do here and with Verizon.
