Only place to get froyo on the corner now. It’s good, cheap, but the workers will practically ignore you until you pay. Gooey brownie is a treat once every so often.

As a UVa alum, I’ve been to Arch’s plenty of times, and it’s just not a top-notch fro-yo place in my opinion. It’s a bit pricey as far as fro-yo goes and flavors are solid, but not to-die-for. I preferred Berry Berry when it was still around or one of the many Sweet Frog locations. Arch’s does have a nice ambiance and they give you free fro-yo on your b-day(with ID)!

This used to be an awesome unique fro-yo place that had delicious Archers made by really friendly people. I was so excited to stop in while visiting home and was incredibly disappointed. First no one came to out of the back for at least 5 – 7 minutes, then the lady didn’t speak any English and couldn’t figure out how to work the machine so I’m certain I was overcharged. She spent the whole time on the phone and when I asked her to blend the cup of fro-yo and toppings she obliged but barely even mixed. I will not be going back.

I was in Charlottesville visiting a friend who heard good things about Arch’s and wanted to give it a try. We were not disappointed. With 12 flavors to choose from(at the time we were there) and endless toppings, you could probably create hundreds of creations. My favorite was the last one I tried: Chocolate and vanilla twist frozen yogurt with gooey brownie(undercooked brownie), mini marshmallows and peanut butter sauce. Yum!
