Excellent choice for an enjoyable late meal after the UVA Football Camp! We enjoyed the Korean meatball app and couple of glasses of Chardonnay while awaiting the 4×4 meat lovers pizza for our ravenous 13 year old. While my husband & I ordered the Cubano and the sweet Thai chicken pizzas — All fantastic! Our first visit to a Brixx. We googled and found one near our home in Florida. A be back!

One of my favorite places in Cville — they’re open really late(2am most days during the school year) relative to most other non-cookout places here. All of their pizzas are really tasty and they have gluten free options which is great for anyone like me with celiac/gluten-sensitivity. There’s also a two pizzas for one deal for late night dine-in customers which is really nice for anyone on a tight budget. The service is great too — cool, attentive people. Overall totally recommended.

There was a group of us that went to Brixx for lunch. I have to say this was a very disappointing experience. The hostess wasn’t unkind but she was a little rude and didn’t really seem to want to be there. Once she sat us though, our waiter was very nice and attentive. I had the chicken club sandwich with the pasta salad. The chicken was flavorless and was a strange consistency which made the whole sandwich very bland. The small side pasta salad had too many kalamata olives and no salt which made it tangy but still pretty flavorless. My husband did say that his sausage pizza was fine but not one of the better ones he has had. Ultimately I don’t think we will go here again since the food was just too bland.

We did half and half pizzas and were happy with the ample toppings and the whole wheat and white crusts. There was a lot of oil on mine considering that I went meatless, but otherwise tasty and a great value, especially with drink specials..

We just went to BRIX and unfortunately had a terrible lunch. My wife and I and our kids(under 10) sat down and had great service from our waiter«James» but unfortunately the food was well below our expectations. We got the brixx sticks for an appetizer and they were okay. The honey mustard sauce was better than the marinara. My wife got the Gorgonzola pear pizza and I got the Buffalo chicken pizza. Both of these pizza’s were beyond bland! As I said earlier the service was fine(and is why this is 2 stars vs 1) but the food was a big let down. I don’t know that we’ll be going back.

Update: the second time I went was far worse. Mind you, having a headache didn’t help, but there was this guy playing guitar so bad that he sounded like Cookie Monster on Vicodin. No body had the heart to tell him to just stop.

Service was great. Food was terrific. Only issue was booth was across from door and the cold wind kept sweeping in.

Went on a Tuesday night for dinner, decent number of people there but definitely not full. Service was great, really too fast as we didn’t even look at appetizers before ordering. The salad we got was good for 2, all ingredients were fresh and tasted great. Pizzas arrived quickly and looked fantastic. The Jerk Chicken was great, and surprisingly juicy. The Bronx Bomber also tasted fantastic a salty and a bit of spice even though the sausage wasn’t impressive on its own it worked really well with the pizza. The Bomber had the whole wheat crust which was really good, a bit more flavor than the traditional, worked well with the heavy toppings. Texture was the same for both crusts, but for a lighter pizza the whole wheat might have a bit too much flavor. I’d say a single pizza is as much as anyone could eat in one sitting, and more than likely you’ll have enough for leftovers. Two lighter eaters could get by with a salad/appetizer and 1 pizza. Beer selection was pretty good, not as extensive as some of the places downtown or on the corner but better than the average.

We come here for the pizza, which is consistently delicious! We also love the draft beer selection, which offers many Virginia-local options. We have had great service each time. This last time I had my dog with me and she was able to join us in the patio area. When we received water the wait staff also brought my dog a cute little red bowl full of water(which saved me the trouble of having to get ours out of the car!).

This is probably the worst eating out experience ever. I ordered a vegetarian pasta for take-out and found pieces of pork in it. I called up the place and asked if they could deliver an alternate since it was 11:30 pm and I couldn’t ask my friend to drive me that late. The manager politely said they don’t deliver and said they would refund the amount. Guess what? No refunds! Please stay away from this place. Order reference number — 243428580LBYTH9EW Update: The manager reached out to me to process a refund and in the next month’s statement, guess what no refund.

Terrible. The three folks as the host stand seemed to be put out by having to seat anyone, the wait person, while nice, was completely unprepared to be a server — she seemed untrained. Pizza crust was inedible, toppings tasted like frozen pizza toppings. Hummus trio completely forgettable.

Well we were sat quickly. The Brooklyn bomber pizza hit the spot. I had the sample of beers which turned out great. I had a great server that suggested all the beers which happen to go nicely with my palette. Date had pasta which she didn’t save any. I consider that good. I would return. Slight culture difference but that’s normal with southern locations.

Chicken was so uncooked that it had a bad smell and was too hard to chew. The waitress apologized and took the dish back. I waited for a new dish with cooked chicken but she didn’t bring me a new dish. After all the people on my table had finished eating, she asked me if I needed anything else. Because I hadn’t eaten anything, I ordered florintine chicken. That pizza also had uncooked chicken. I’m taking it home to see if it tastes better if I grill it. Thai pizza that my mom ordered was pretty unique. It had sweet but a little spicy taste. Well that’s only reason why I gave a two star instead of one. The waitress also didn’t refill my water. I would not ever come back again.

Adequate pizza but sometimes a bit underdone for my taste. Kind of like The Olive Garden of pizza. Decent service. Outdoor seating but you’re basically in a parking lot.

Brixx is just alright. If you have a flat bread pizza craving and know of no where else to go, then Brixx will be okay. But pretty much JUST okay. Didn’t really find anything special about this place. The only reason why I gave it a three is because their tiramisu actually impressed me since I was expecting it to be just meh.

We headed here for dinner to start off a date night last Saturday around 6:30pm. When we walked in, the hostess walked away-not the best first impression, but she came back a few minutes later and we got seated. We started off by ordering beers off of their decent beer list and spinach and artichoke dip. The dip came out super quickly. We decided to split a Brixx salad and a pimento cheese pizza. The spinach and artichoke dip was decent, not my favorite, but it was good. The salad was a very large portion; however, even though the choice of toppings is great, it wasn’t that great. The pimento cheese pizza was pretty disappointing. There wasn’t a lot of cheese on one side that we asked for no bacon on. So, it wasn’t very flavorful or filling. We had heard good things about Brixx, but the quality of their food is not very good. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone’s or dinner, and I won’t be back to eat. Even though Cville has been disappointing with pizza, there are better options than Brixx. I visited one other time on a Monday night, and they had $ 2 beers on special, but other than taking advantage of that, I won’t be returning.

This joint was ok. The man enjoyed his pizza and I thought my pasta was mediocre at best but that doesn’t mean it was bad. Service was friendly and prompt.

Got the 4×4 pizza and it was terrible. Super dry, then I asked for fresh lemonade and it was pure sugar! Paid $ 20, left hungry and very thirsty!!!
