Waste of time, snooty people who lack customer service skills, and discriminate. I saw items from Ross’s store and although I like Ross’s, these items were marked higher and being passed off as antiques. I’ve seen way better. They were snobby, insulted me more than once and implied I didn’t seem rich enough looking to even be able to see the real antiques. It was the least friendly customer service. I didn’t feel treated equally in the store and judged harshly. I initially stopped to see the main antique store, but it was implied I wouldn’t be able to afford it, it was by appointment, and everything started at 1,000 and above. I don’t believe they’re ethical or honest either and ignore VA privacy and personal item laws. I don’t understand why they lack basic social skills and fail to treat their customers like customers. This store doesn’t deserve that name either because they don’t represent the values that come with that name. They love people less and respect things more. In passing I was insulted again and so I said«that’s a rude thing to say.» Fifteen minutes later I was asked to leave and I asked«what for?» and I wandered if he thought I looked too common or like a thief or too young. He said«you know what for». and said he would call the cops. I felt uncomfortable the whole me and judged poorly and never want to go back. On the way out I saw the person who had kept insulting me and implying I’m poor and they were smiling as if happy to see me leave. I hadn’t liked much of what I saw anyway and it wasn’t as if they were pleasant to be around and I wandered«why are they even in customer service? How do they make money?» They never told me what for, but it was the worst a store ever treated me. I tried comforting myself by admitting they didn’t have anything I want anyway and weren’t like able people. They need to have hours and stop passing off items from this decade as antiques. The clothes are nice, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable shopping there.
