Rite Aid

This place is the worst! Never again will I go. If there’s one thing I hate it is incompetent service. Another thing I hate is my time being wasted. I got both of those on today’s visit.
Came in to get a prescription filled. The sign says to stand back so as to provide privacy to the person at the counter. I stood back. Forever. Apparently they didn’t see me. Finally I walk up to the register only to be told to go to the other counter marked CONSULTATION. Didn’t say anything about drop off. So I go down there and drop off my RX which I said I’d wait for.
Fast forward 50 minutes later after sitting directly in front of the counter, I finally get up and ask how much longer it’s going to take. Lo and behold, it’s been ready. The girl acts as if she’s not an idiot and rings me up. I say, «What, no apology? No explanation?» She said they called my name. I told her I would’ve heard it, that I’ve been sitting directly in front of her the entire time. They didn’t, of course. And they definitely didn’t call it over the loudspeaker.
Total incompetence and a complete waste of my time.

The service for prescriptions is a bit slow, but all of the technicians are nice. The line gets a bit long at checkout, but they seem to have most everything you need.
