Roxie Daisy

Super cute shop, full of expensive but high quality home goods and gifts. The kitchen section is stellar; they have lots of specialty glassware, bakeware, cocktail amenities, and a nicely curated collection of cookbooks.

Beautiful finds adorn the tables, shelves, and walls of this incredibly fantastic shop. From lusciously scented candles and witty greeting cards to bedding and glassware, this shop is overflowing with home accessories. If I could have chosen one of everything, I would have been in heaven!
I actually found Roxie Daisy because I was on a hunt for a specific neckwear company, that only sells its ties at two shops in Virginia (one being Roxie Daisy, obviously). I was in Charlottesville for wedding meetings and I ended up having time between two appointments, so I made a beeline for the downtown mall in search of this shop. My fiancé and I are considering these ties for our wedding, so I wanted to check them out in person first. I did end up loving the ties, but I loved the overall shop just as much!
I wasn’t expecting the space to be as large as it is, but it seemed like I kept turning corners to find more amazing products. I ended up leaving with a coffee table book filled with Paris photographs. It might sound like am impulse buy, but these particular photos are ones that I have been obsessed with for years — so finding a book filled with them was just fate. I also took home two miniature perfumes (one of which I am currently wearing and love) and a small white ceramic dish with the inside lacquered in gold. I plan to use that for rings.
As much as I loved everything in the shop, I equally loved the owner and staff! We ended up having a wonderful conversation, as her son is getting married a few weeks after us and he’s considering the same tie company! Also, he’s getting married in Richmond, so we chatted weddings and vendors for a little bit. She was just absolutely fantastic, and I would give her my business all day long based on her warm and engaging personality alone. If I was able to make such a great connection during such a short visit, I can’t help but believe she’s this way with all of the customers who enter her store. And what’s better than leaving a shop with a huge smile on your face?
Roxie Daisy is absolutely on my list for «must-​visit» next time I’m in Cville!

Another favorite shop in the downtown mall area. The whole store is filled with gorgeous things, I could spend hours just looking at all of it. They have a lot of favorites of mine (like bella notte linens, lollia perfume) which I have only ever seen in a few different places before. I just love the style of this place. The sales people and owner (who has been there every time I’ve gone in) is very nice and helpful as well, which adds to the lovely atmosphere of visiting this store.

Very cute little place, reminds me of a boutique I once worked at. The owner was very nice.
