love their food! So many incredible vegan and vegetarian options. Their green beans, hummus, falafel salad, and veggie kebobs are my favorites.

Good but not one of the best kebab places I’ve been to. I got the platter with the grilled lamb kibbeh and taboulah side. The lamb, basmati rice, flatbread and sides were a tad bit beyond mediocre. The platter also only came with one kebab so I was starving after. I probably should have gotten another kebab(for an extra $ 2). The taboulah description said salad but it was more grainy, yet still not bad. I would probably come again with friends but it’s definitely not something I would be craving.

Always delicious food, especially the cilantro sauce! It’s just slow at lunchtime, especially with their busy catering/to-go business.

I love this place! — Definitely one of the best fast casual places in town. It’s a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and the people who work there are great. I get the grilled lamb kibbeh platter with grilled veggie salad and red pepper sauce, over Basmati rice with grilled flatbread — mix it all together and it’s such a tasty, fresh, balanced meal. I always leave satisfied. Onion rings are great, too.

When I lived in Virginia I ate –seriously– almost every single day at Sticks. It is practically part of my soul now. The food is healthy, inexpensive, and quick. The friendly staff know me by name. The beef and hummus is yummy!

Everything about their food is amazing! I actually have never been to the restaurant, but they catered one of our work events. Homemade pita chips and hummus was to die for! All of their rice and kebabs were tasty. The cucumber salad was incredible. Definitely going back and making them a cville staple!

The only thing good about this meal was the chicken kabob, and that was only because it was hot and it was cooked. But who the hell can mess up a chicken kabob? That’s like the bare minimum for consumption. Everything else was a mess — the rice was soggy and mushy, the eggplant salad was a nasty grey mess that was spiced so awfully I couldn’t eat a bite, the naan bread was cold, and the«salad» consisted of exactly 3 pieces of shredded up iceberg with 3 little chunks of tomato to match. I ended up throwing away more of my meal than I ended up eating. Would not come again. Why would you eat here when there are actually options for authentic Afghani kabob places in this town?

Great place for takeout. I usually get the veggie kebobs with roasted red pepper sauce, which are vegan, and pick from about 3 or 4 vegan sides. I highly recommend the hummus, though. So yummy.

Sticks is the amazing. The Kebobs are on point, and they offer vegetarian and vegan stuff for anyone who likes that. It’s a bit pricy but not bad. Probably $ 10-$ 14 for a great meal. The also have limeade and lemonade that is insanely good.

Delicious! We get food here all the time. However; rice is weirdly greasy. Great for quick meals.

I’ve eaten here and gotten take-out probably 40 or more times in the last couple of years. During our kitchen renovation, we got take-out from Sticks 2 or 3 times a week. Until today, I would have rated it four stars because everything about it was fresh, delicious, and consistent from meal to meal. Until today. Today, the rice was undercooked and just about inedible, and a few minor parts of our order were MIA. Overall, I still like the place, but please, Sticks Kebob people, get it together. Will happily revise this review when things return to their former state of excellence.

I admit– we didn’t set out in search of Sticks. We wanted to go to an unnamed neighboring restaurant but when we arrived, at 8pm, we discovered that it closed at 8pm(Yes, a restaurant that stops serving dinner at 8PM). So. Then we went to Sticks. Everything at Sticks resembles food, but oddly, nothing tastes like food. The hummus is a container of rust colored glue, the«eggplant salad» is a grey colored tasteless soggy mess, the string beans are leathery and over cooked, and the kabobs are tough. Your very best bet at this exceedingly mediocre spot is the Mexican lentil soup which is bland but at least resembles food. I Additional points deducted for sticky, gross tables.

This place is great for cheap/casual Mediterranean food! The lamb kabobs and the roasted eggplant salad were good.

Shockingly good kebabs. I usually get the kibbeh kabob which is a rare treat — grilled ground spiced lamb with pine nuts. Eggplant salad on the side is great as are the sesame green beans.

Yum, I like Sticks for a quick lunch or dinner on the healthier side. I always get veggie kabob over rice with a side of hummus and pita(although there are other tasty sides to choose from). Their plates are a good value and this is a little thing, but I like that they have real silverware instead of plastic throw-aways. Every little bit helps! Seems like they are very involved with the community, too.

Visited Sticks on a nice sunny afternoon for lunch. They have outdoor seating area. I went for a platter with falafel with a side of hummus. The food was fine. Bit on the dry side. The quantity was optimal. May be I would have had better luck with those kebobs. I’ll probably try salad next time around. Not anytime soon though.

Not a fan. I got sick after eating here once and still tried it again. Never any place to sit. Too expensive for what you get. Service is non existent.

Every time I’m in town, I CRAVE Sticks. OK really I crave the creamy cilantro lime sauce. Here’s the run down: Pick your meant: steak, chicken, shrimp, lamb Do you want a salad, a sandwich or rice and a side? Pick your sauce. Its fast food but its so damn good. My favorite is the shrimp platter with cilantro sauce. 5 shrimp on jasmine rice, I get french fries or hummus as my side, comes with pita bread and the ultimate yummy creamy cilantro dipping sauce. Its one of my 2 stops I must hit in Cville on any trip. Great place to meet friends for a quick and cheap lunch.
