I had a good experience searching for classics which were located to the right of the store, however, when it came to newer releases it was a little sparse. The sales associate was nice and easy to talk to. She seemed to be truly passionate about reading by her conversation with other customers. All in all, the selection is decent and well organized by genre and author. While the green stickers did alert the buyer to new and regular price items, it would have been nice to have a few clearly marked signs that indicated the books that were part of 50%. I would come back to check what new additions come in.

I really like The Book Room. The employees are welcoming without being intrusive. The values are good. It has the charm of a vintage book shop with a broad array of more current offerings and I don’t have to walk great distances from parking to get there.

Wow.(this is in reaction to the other review). I love the Book Room and feel that everyone who works there is a book lover. Clearly the person who wrote the other review doesn’t love the smell of old books — if that is true, get a kindle and leave these great used bookstores to people like me who walk in, take a deep breath and wander for hours looking for books.

Oh, no! I was late to the airport for my flight to Germany! But, worse, i had no book to read! Sure, i could pay $ 700 for a book at an airport bookstore why do that when there’s a used book store just on the way(right next to Whole Foods)? I screeched into the parking lot, bolted into the«Book Room» and nearly lost consciousness: the dust, mold and cooties hung thick in the air. My legs turned to putty and I wavered on them, as precarious as the stack of mystery novels on the corner of a nearby table. Gripping the front counter for support, I asked the man in charge for help: «Can you recommend a good book for a long plane ride?» The rotund man lowered his hand-held Playstation and said to me: «I don’t know. I haven’t read a book in YEARS!» (This review is filed both under ‘ironic comedy’ and ‘non-fiction microessay’.)
