Lots of options for a $ 12 hotel lunch buffet. Everything was fresh and delicious. I’d prefer another dessert option for kids, like cookies or cake. Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie aren’t for everyone.

The support staff at the Omni are wonderful. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not. Service is slow and Inexperienced. There were four tables and one was finishing up and four staff and we sat and sat waiting for our drink order to be taken. Cocktail was fabulous, cheese tray was really good and then the entrees came. Our chicken was rubbery and over cooked, the artichokes came from a can, the spinach was good, but that’s really expensive spinach. The desserts were free and that was too much to pay for them. The key lime pie was chalky and thick and the carrot cake was basically just a carrot muffin. For the price of the food, we expect better.

A Gourmet Lunch Buffet is offered daily, with a different speciality, such as smoked pork barbecue and slaw on Tuesdays. We ate along with other hotel guests, but noticed many college students chowing down as the food was presented well and constantly cleaned up by the servers. Tossed salads, curried chicken salad, speciality cheeses, beef brisket along with beans and rice. The desserts included pumpkin pie and a seven layered chocolate cake. Our server was quick with iced tea refills. We plan to return again today!
