Parking sucks! Great staff and too damn high for a sandwich but it was so good! I am definitely returning when I get a pay raise:)

Nice local market and café style food. Stopped in for lunch at noon on a Saturday. There are a handful of small tables inside and a bunch outside. We had no problem finding a seat. Husband had the steak and cheese on baguette and I had the lamb burger Both were fantastic.

Loving this place so much didn’t surprise me, but that doesn’t mean I’m not happy about it! Timbercreek Market is a natural extension of the Farm-to-Table movement, in which the farm itself opens an off-site retail location to make it easier for consumers to access their food. They do whole-animal butchery and have an admirable charcuterie selection. We stopped by and bought a bottle of Champagne and a cheese plate. They happily did closing tasks around us as we stayed about 5 minutes too long on the patio(whoops!) Everyone was courteous and happy to have us. Check it out!

The CocaCola bottling plant has been renovated and Timbercreek Market is the first food spot inside. Wow, it’s fantastic. It isn’t a cheap sandwich(figure $ 9 – 10) but it is a good size and delicious. I tried the crispy pork belly sandwich, topped with apple mustard(fresh and chunky apples in this delicious spread) and baby maiche. It was so fantastic, I can’t wait to try the other menu items. It came with some fresh pickled cucumbers on the side too that were delicious. To wash it down I had some fresh lemonade that was more tart than sweet, which I personally enjoyed. The store itself has a fantastic deli counter with fresh cheese and meats(think headcheese made in-house). They have entrees and sides to package up and take home too. Today there were ribs with sweet potatoes, butternut squash with pasta, and several other delicious items. I was told they always have a fresh supper option starting at 4pm too. There is a great selection of local wines and beer too, some of it chilled to pair with your lunch. Go check out this spot for a fantastic local lunch or light dinner, but don’t expect to walk away with lots of money left in your wallet!

Great Looking Butchers Market with Cheese AND Knives(Monolith Studio Knives) ! We went for a Sandwich(Lunch) and to pick up a Steak to take home and prepare for our Dinner! We were pretty disappointed in the Sandwich selection though it seemed everyone else was happy and at 2:00PM this place was Packed for Saturday Lunch! Too, I imagine when we come back the Sandwich the Sandwich selections(Chalkboard Menu) may vary? Meat! On Unilocal the category listing is «Butcher» and I think that is Very Accurate! The Meat looks Soooooo Beautiful! Prosciutto Hams sitting in a Modern Case, other Cure Meats, fresh partial Carcasses Hanging in the Glassed in Locker, and did you want Cheese to go with that? We purchased about a pound of Beef: Got Home, prepared a 30 Minute Marinade: Lime Juice, Garlic, Orange Vinegar, Olive Oil, Black Pepper and a little Salt… Cooked it on each side a few Seconds VERY High Heat, let it rest on a cutting board a few minutes and Sliced it super thin for Dinner and Breakfast the next Morning! Monolith Studio Knives I DREAM of Steel ! !! !!! There is something about an Edged Cutting Instrument! My Attraction to Blades goes back to my Childhood(preteens easily) Sharp and Heavy has Extreme Advantages in the Kitchen! Oh these are Beautiful!!! Gorgeous Wooden Cutting Boards too!

Nice concept, product is good(some great), but pretentiousness reigns. Bought some steaks which grilled up nice(no noticeable difference from other markets, but hey– local). When I looked at the corn, it was way overpriced compared to a roadside market found anywhere nearby. I got chastised for mentioning that(I simply asked why it was worth getting this corn). And be wary of the cheesemonger. Stand back and watch him leer at the patrons. Kinda funny, definitely creepy! All in all a good place, but too Hipster(x10) and I’ll local source elsewhere.

Delicious sandwiches, but you have to be willing to pay $ 9 – 11 per without sides and a drink. For two people with chips and a drink it was $ 35– a little pricey especially without table service. All for local Charlottesville farm to table but this was steep.

Great new place! I came here for lunch and ordered the chicken sandwich but my order got mixed up and I ended up get the tomato sandwich. I didn’t realize the mistake until in took my first bite but I honestly didn’t mind a bit because it was soo good! I figured I wasn’t going to bother telling them because I was enjoying it but they caught their mistake and brought me the correct one is such a pleasant manner! So I’ve tried both now and have to say they are both great! They are still figuring their system I’m sure, but their mistakes are totally made up for by the friendly customer service! Can’t wait to come back with friends!

Great meat counter, delicious gourmet sandwiches, fresh, local produce, and the nicest, most helpful staff. It is an overall good experience.
