This is a perfect location for a delicious fruit smoothie or a bowl, we love this place and the atmosphere.

This is a great place to go to after you’ve gone out to eat janky food with your friends for the 7th day in a row. The acai bowls are filling enough to be a meal. Come here if you want to have a light meal/refreshment that won’t make you feel gross Pluses: — Super clean, super hip, and highly instagrammable place — The bowls are good, everything tastes very healthy — You can watch them make your bowls — They compost — They recycle used juice bottles Minuses: — Upon leaving, sometimes your clothes smells like random vegetables — I’m not sure how I feel about them pushing«juice cleanses» — all of the science very clearly says«no that doesn’t work and isn’t healthy, you’re losing weight because you’re literally abstaining your body from the calories it needs to run»

Love this concept. Staff is friendly and helpful, smoothie bowls are delicious… They get bonus points for recycling and having a gender neutral bathroom. Try the tropical energy smoothie in a bowl, it’s fantastic!

Awesome smoothie bowl and décor. I got the coco verde smoothie bowl and it was the perfect consistency and flavor. It wasn’t too sweet or too sour which I appreciated. It was pretty filling as a snack but I still think it was a bit pricey. It’s a lot more expensive than your average chain-location smoothie but the quality of the ingredients was clearly better. The toppings(especially the granola) were amazing too. I came to study here because in the pictures it looked like it was going to be a good spot. I actually liked it but it wasn’t a place to go to do really intense studying since the music was really loud. I mean blaring so incredibly loudly that you could hear it perfectly clearly above the sound of the running blenders. It worked for my purposes today but my friend got annoyed by it eventually. One more note, I would call before you head over because I tried coming yesterday during the normal hours and they were closed. I know things happen but this was frustrating! Don’t know if it happens often. I’m glad I came back today though!

Omg, the Blended Brew smoothie(cold brew with oats, banana, almond bitter and cocoa) was amazing and the perfect breakfast! The rest of my gang went to a greasy spoon and I told them I’d be right back. I literally ran down to this place, and returned in time to hear«we should have gone with you.» Yup! This place rocks! Thanks for leaving me happy and healthy!

This cute, new place near Timbercreek Market definitely offers something different from the other sandwich and café type places nearby(not knocking on Bodo’s – love that place – but sometimes even a guy like me craves something with less bread and more veggies). I tried two of their juices(the carrot and the creamy cashew) but haven’t tried the food yet they also have some hot food like Vegan chili and some bowl and smoothie concoctions that sound unusual but could be good?). Place was pretty empty around 1:45PM in the afternoon. I think the folks on Unilocal who complained about service may have a point – I wasn’t immediately greeted by anyone when I walked in, and had to ask the person I think was the manager to walk me through their options because for the uninitiated, the menu can be confusing/daunting. However, everyone there was smiling and friendly and I wouldn’t let those reviews turn you off. If you’re looking for something in particular, however, you might need to call ahead to make sure they keep it aside for you since they’re making everything fresh. I also dig that they do a bottle recycling program, where you get cash back if you return their glass bottles. Big kudos on devising a solution to the plastic/bottle waste issue. Let’s hope other businesses take notice! My bottom line, if you’re craving something fresh, organic, and quick, definitely give these guys a try!

Occasionally stocked, generally unhelpful staff, and consistently expensive. Literally every time I come to buy a quart of unsweetened almond milk they don’t have it. Last time the guy behind the counter said they were not stocking the unsweetened nut milk in the front refrigerator anymore and he would make me up a quart. Today I go in and they say they can’t do that and advise me to place an order and come back later to pick it up. Seriously? You can’t just pour a quart for me? I like the almond milk because it’s sprouted and organic. It’s also kind of chalky and not the best I’ve had. It’s certainly not worth the hassle and continual disappointment.

This place is exactly what has been missing from Charlottesville and I’m elated it’s finally here. Being from Southern California, moving out to Virginia has been wonderful — BUT the lack of fresh, natural, healthful foods, smoothies, and juices has been a little bit of a culture shock. Even the Whole Foods out here DOESN’T HAVE A JUICEBAR. This place is exactly what my little California soul has been craving. We got the CB&J bowl and the Cacao bowl — both fabulous. Next time I’ve got my eye on the vegan chili — so cool that this place has juices, smoothies, bowls, salads, and yummy snacks. And what an awesome venue — exposed brick, modern fixtures, and welcoming. A great place to camp out for the day and work or study.

This place makes such tasty, good juice! Like I find myself changing my route to get home in order to stop by kind of good. I love their spicy green and their strawberry shake. Such heaven!

We stopped here for breakfast while visiting Monticello and were blown away by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Even on a old winter day it was warm and cozy inside the juice bar and the CB&J bowl with the Acai/granola additions was amazing! Presentation was beautiful too and the staff was very nice and pleasant. This place is a little hidden gem and I hope everyone who is looking for a wise breakfast/lunch/anytime choice stops by.

I tried the CB&J smoothie bowl and it was fantastic! Great flavor of smoothie and I loved the granola and fruit that it was topped with. It’s a little pricey for an everyday stop(which I understand, as all ingredients are fresh & organic) but I’ll definitely be back to try more things. The space is also beautiful and clean. It would be great to just read a book and drink a juice on a lazy day!

I’m editing this review based on valid feedback from Michael below. It’s a new place and they need to work out their links. the acai bowl is good the service was sub par. Came here for a lunch break during work and it took 20 minutes to get our bowls. I don’t think that’s an acceptable wait time for basically a smoothie. They need to reconsider their process and have one person taking orders and someone else making the bowls/food. Not the cashier making every order.

I don’t write reviews often, but sometimes a place is so good it deserves to be recognized. I lived in Southern California for about 10 years, a place that houses some of the best juice and smoothie places in the country. I have to say that the Juice Laundry is right up there with them. The place is clean and comfortable with lots of space to chill and hang out. The juice is all organic, fresh cold pressed and there is a huge assortment of options even kid friendly juices(great for me with two young girls). I’m not joking when I say I’m in there almost every day. Now that I live in Charlottesville I’m excited to have this place in the neighborhood. I recommend it to everyone. ohhh.. .. and they have vegan souls and chili that are real good!

Had the Acai smoothie bowl. It was fabulous. Got the superman and tropical energy. Their menu for juices is insane and their COLDBREWS. Unreal. The cold brew mocha late: wtf. Unreal. The dates in it just make it extra damn special! The scene is so chill and they have wifi! Spacious and just a great selection of soups/bowls/cleanses/etc. Finally a place doing it right in Charlottesville. They are ahead of everyone here honestly, very LA, NY cool vibes.
