I have been coming here for at least 15 years and have never had a bad cut or color. Glenn (the owner) is an absolute genius and I trust him implicitly. I kind of let him do whatever he thinks will look good and I have never been disappointed. WMD is not cheap, but I don’t want to look cheap either, so its worth it.
I have recently moved but I will continue to make the trip to Charlottesville.

Loni is my regular hair stylist and colorist and I think she’s fabulous. I basically let her do whatever she thinks is best for my hair and what color looks best on me and I’ve never been disappointed. Sometimes I do come out of there right after wondering if letting Loni have free reign was the right thing to do, but it always looks amazing the next day! She knows hair and Glen, the owner, is amazing as well.
The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

I’ve gotten my hair cut twice here by Lonnie. Once was fantastic, the other time was just ok.
The atmosphere is nice, and the staff is friendly. The interior is very urban and hip, with exposed brick and mirrors lining one wall. I don’t get my hair cut that often, so I can’t say I’ve developed much of a rapport yet.
Parking is hard to find (depending on the time of day), although they do have a small lot. They also only take cash, so bring enough for your haircut (~$ 45 for me) plus a tip.
