Came in for the big ass salad bar, mostly because I loves me a big ass salad. Salad bar was pathetic. Lettuce looked old and brown, and many of the vegetables just didn’t look fresh. Asked for fresh, and they brought out more spring mix, but that looked awful, so I just skipped it. Got a kid’s meal for my daughter, but grapes that came with it were browned and mushy, with some clearly not edible. Sent them back as well. Won’t be going back.

Some of the most tender ribs I have found, truly fall off the bone. Absolutely worth the trip right there for me! The service is helpful and attentive and the management goes out of their way to make sure you leave happy. Plus they have a salad bar that is pretty cheap with the purchase of any other entrée. I am definitely coming back for more ribs!

Ruby’s is a local favorite for the middle class families in the area. Good food, a menu that tends to stay fresh and good pricing. They have had issues accommodating my daughter’s allergies just because the menu does change so often that one visit their chicken strips are safe and other times they are not so I’m always checking their allergen menu online or bringing in food for her. They have some decent drinks as well so if you want to do a quick after work drink with coworkers or friends, it is typically not too busy from 4 – 6 making it a a good place to chat.

Horrible service, and the food was not good. We waited almost 25 minutes before we even saw our waitress, the manager took our drink orders and food orders and brought us our food. We were one of the only tables in the building and still couldn’t get service.

We like this establishment! We avoid the lunch crowd, though, and have a late lunch … by arriving at about 1 or 2pm. Last time, we ordered the Asiago Peppercorn Sirloin(top sirloin perfectly seasoned and flavored with cracked peppercorns, Parmesan cream sauce, and shaved Asiago cheese) and the Chicken Bella(sautéed baby portabella mushrooms and artichokes in a Parmesan cream sauce over a fresh, grilled chicken breast). Each meal was served with a choice of 2 sides or soup or salad bar. The entries were lovely and tasty; hot and perfectly done(both meat and veggies). The salad bar here is just delightful … lots of cold and crisp, yummy choices and well-attended, so that everything is ample and stays fresh. Plentiful choice of dressings, greens, beans, cheeses, pastas, fruit and veggie choices and toppings. Attentive service … and friendly and competent wait staff, including bartender with full bar. A very pleasant experience!

Worst place in chaska. I won’t be back as I was sick for 3 days afterwards with food poisoning. Buffet items that should have been cold were not. Was the cooling broken? Not sure but the place need help

I love ruby Tuesdays. They have a great menu, burgers, steaks, salads, soups. I love their salad bar, the best in the area. Great place to take the wife for a great quiet sit down meal for a decent price. Always a good choice

Prior experience with this chain led me to believe it was casual. I was surprised to see the linen cloths and napkins with the appearance of a classy joint. Unlike my expectations, shallowly based on appearance, the restaurant was expensive, the service poor, the menu limited, and the food quite average. We ate at 5:00 pm, not a normal dinner or bar rush time, but our beverage took 15 minutes. Our request for refill on rolls never came. The meat was overcooked and the vegetables were soggy. We went on a Friday. Maybe the service and food is only good on Tuesday’s?

I don’t usually patronize chain restaurants, but I really like the side dishes and salad bar at Ruby’s. I’ve been 4 times to this location and my order is NEVER right. Steaks overcooked. Sauces added when asked to be held. Once the server was good about it, but usually I feel rushed and like I am a bother. I spoke to a manager once, and her response was«Well, what can you do?» I thought maybe the service was the issue, so I ordered the Spaghetti Squash entrée to take back to the hotel –I got a side dish sized portion, no plastic-ware, no napkins, no biscuits… I need to find another location.

Ok, it’s Ruby Tuesday. I’m not rating it against 4-star restaurants, I’m just rating it on a scale of hate to like. I like it. It’s good for what it is, which is not fancy, and doesn’t come with high expectations. Food was just as expected. A-Ok. {I use that term, because it’s how Unilocal describes a 3-star rating}. The service, however, was awesome. I dined alone over lunch, used the wifi to work remotely, and the server didn’t care how long I stayed. I made sure she wasn’t trying to leave for the day, and that I wasn’t taking up a table in an already-full section. She was super attentive, friendly, but not intrusive, and kept my water full. She brought the bill but didn’t rush me, and even gave me a 25% off coupon for my next visit! Score!

My roommate and I make it a point to come here for happy hour. The atmosphere is great and the bartenders are very friendly – our favorite is Brian. Fun selection of appetizers that are on special, and of course the salad bar is always great too!

Came here on a Friday night around 7:30 pm the place was full but we didn’t experience a wait. The service was okay, the server was definitely very busy and overworked, she made us feel very rushed when it came to placing our order, I didn’t like that. I also was sort of irritated that she made a beer recommendation to me stating that it was an IPA, it was nothing near an IPA and actually a sub-par lager beer. Blagh! We decided to try some appetizers for our dinner rather than have actual dinner entrees,. We had the shrimp fondue, which really wasn’t great, as the consistency of it was more soup like than fondue like. We also had the new Baja Quesadilla which was under cooked in my opinion but still was flavorful.

We always eat here when I take my Chaska customer to golf and lunch. The salad bar is plentiful and I never had a meal I didn’t like here. The fruity lemonades are great. The service is always friendly. The fried shrimp were smallish today with lots of batter so I am not ordering that again but typically their ribs and chicken dishes are great.

There are not many upscale restaurant choices in Chaska, MN and there are not many national restaurant chains to choose from either. However, a few years ago, Ruby Tuesday build an new restaurant in the Chaska Commons. I must be honest with you, I was not a fan of Ruby Tuesdays but I decided to give them a try this this weekend. I was highly surprised and impressed.. .. I actually really enjoyed everything we ordered. Good service. I think they have a done a good job for a national restaurant chain. GT

Ruby Tuesday’s gave away 100,000 free Burger Coupons on Facebook, which lured us into the doors of this cliché suburban grill and tavern. The price was right and we hadn’t had a chain-burger in awhile, so why not? Mmm.corporatey. We* ordered The Smokehouse Burger and were very impressed. The patty was prepared medium-rare(at our request), and every bite was oozing with savory goodness. The Smokehouse is topped with cheddar, bacon, BBQ sauce and onion rings, and we* were totally satisfied. 8⁄10. For a second entrée, we* shared the Ribs and Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp from the«Mixed Grill» summer menu. The ribs were glazed and fairly tender, but not«fall-off-the-bone» tender. I wasn’t taken away by their BBQ sauce either, but it wasn’t terrible. The ribs get a 6⁄10. The three pieces of Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp were grilled and served on a skewer. 7⁄10. Both entrees included four sides, so we* chose: onion rings, sweet potato fries, broccoli and tomatoes. The fries/rings were good, but the portion sizes were less than you’d expect. That wasn’t really a problem though, since our entrees were huge. Overall we had a good meal, but our server’s attentive, friendly and accomodating attitude really helped make our visit a great dining experience. Kudos to Chaska RT’s for overcoming its chainyness and winning me over. * Due to our inability to commit to one entrée, my girlfriend and I tend to share our meals.

I stopped in on a Wednesday evening missing the 2 for 1 dinner special that ends before 5pm. I had a large Draft of the Day $ 4 and the Ruby’s Classic Burger with all you can eat fry’s, topped with fresh leaf lettuce, seasonal vine-ripened tomatoes, red onions, crunchy pickles, and Ruby’s mayonnaise. I took my chances and ordered it medium rare and it came perfectly done, great burger. I am not a french fry eater but, I have to say they were fantastic and I finished every single one. Dinner for four came in at a surprising $ 44, not a bad deal although two people shared Turkey mini’s and Salad Bar. Great server, good food, the salad bar is impressive(I did not actually see it but, sampled some of the selections quite a variety and everyone was raving about it).
