I love this place. Love grammas recipe. Would recommend. I drive half an hour to eat pizza here. I pass a ton of pizza places along the way. :)

The location is very convenient and usually you can get food for carry out pretty fast. But like the other reviews state the food is mediocre at best. The pizza tends to be light on sauce and cheese, and is not always fresh. Order anything that requires fresh preparation and it takes a lot longer. Suspect there are better pizza places nearby but just haven’t found them yet…

We have ordered from here a few times, the delivery service is always fast and they are always very pleasant. The pizza is delicious, and we enjoy having the buffalo wings as a side. We live just over the Chatham border in florham park and they are still happy to take the drive. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

Best pizza in the area! My personal favorite is their grandma pie! It’s a great little spot in Chatham, kid friendly, good service, and a delicious menu. I totally reccomend this for a casual pizza eatery in the area.

Arminio makes very average food in an above average location in Chatham. It is our go to pizza place for most things given their location. However it is certainly not by any stretch the best pizza around. Standouts on the menu include their chicken Parm. One of the disappointing features of this restaurant is that they often make the pasta in the morning and serve it throughout the day. So there’s no such thing as getting your pasta al dente which I think is almost criminal.

I can’t comment on the dining in here, as I’ve only ordered takeout. I usually get the eggplant parm pizza, which is great. We ordered meals, which were big portions and came with salad and bread. Staff is friendly and food is made fast.

Only had pizza and wings for takeout but was not impressed at all. Wings weren’t well done and looked like undercooked. Also the pizza wasn’t cooked that well either. The crust has no brown color to it and tasteless. I would drive a few more mins to Madison for much better tasting pizzas.

Tried the pizza for delivery. $ 15 for a pie plus delivery charge yikes. Unimpressed with the canned like sauce and flavorless cheese. I’ll stick with your chicken dishes.

Good enough pizza, with a variety of specialty pies. While it’s a good joint for local dine-in/take-out pizza and Italian comfort food, by no means is the is a travel worthy destination location. Friendly enough staff, though when we tried to call ahead, nobody answered the phone. We ordered a pie in person. Took about 15 minutes or so, no biggie.

Friendly, tasty, straight forward food. Good for kids and families. Had linguini with red clam sauce, grilled chicken caesar salad, both fresh well prepared and delicious. The plates left the table clean.

Best pizza in the area. I especially love the pizza with everything on it. The toppings are not overcooked and soggy like most places. The seasoning in the dough has such a unique flavor.

Very friendly staff and reasonably priced food. This is not my favorite slice but it is still good. The wings are great although I would love some celery and carrots on the side. Typical Jersey Italian food with a strong emphasis on creating an inviting local feel. Tons of kids outside after school getting a slice.

We love the pizza at Arminio’s! Definitely try their«Buffalo Chicken» pizza. It’s awesome! The service is top-notch. This is one of the best pizzeria’s in Chatham.

Outstanding pizza and service. Definitely the best in the surrounding area. Good prices too! Best of all is the service. I was disappointed one time that the order took longer than expected and the salad greens were not as ordered, and they immediately offered to refund the item. They really care about the customer! Great food and great customer service.

I am really dramatic about my food, especially if it involves salad. There was a mis-communication about the type of salad I wanted and it was mostly my fault. The owner OR manager quickly saw I was upset and did not charge me. I was amazed how much he cared about one customer. Their pizza is great– especially the Grandma Pie! And I LOVE the buffalo chicken salad, regardless of the lettuce leaves used. When I dined-in last weekend the service was friendly and attentive. I can’t say anything bad about Arminio’s– I just hope they’ll have me back ;) Also VERY important note: BYOB

Not a lot of pizza options in Chatham but there are plenty of outstanding pizzerias in the surrounding towns. There are three elements I consider when evaluating a pizza: the crust taste and texture, the sauce, and fresh vs canned mushrooms. This place fails on two of the three parameters. Crust is too doughy for my liking and the canned mushrooms are pretty much a non-starter in my book. Arturo’s in Maplewood, the Landmark in Livingston(order the old world pizza) and Godfather’s on Route 10 are just a few of the solid pizza joints in the area. Pizzeta Enoteca also has wonderful whole wheat thin crust pizza with decent topping options. Take out is the way to go there! I am sure the owner here tries hard but when it comes to good pizza, I don’t settle and this place just doesn’t cut it.

Arminio’s is literally right across the street from me so I’ve gotten take out here many times. My favorite dish is the Penne Pomodoro. It comes with a plum tomato sauce, basil, prosciutto, and onion. I ask them to sub the plum tomato sauce with a vodka sauce and it is oh so tasty. Throw a little parmasan cheese on there and you’re solid. They also have lots of salads, chicken dishes, many pasta dishes with many different sauce choices and pizza too. They offer lunch portions on many of the menu items and the dinner portions are generous. For dessert, try their chocolate mousse cake. The only thing I do not recommend is their Cesar Salad. It does not come with the traditional dressing. Other than that, I will continue to frequent.

Dined here in the back area on a Monday evening with two friends. Had the vegetarian pizza and a pasta dish. We chose the place because it was so close to the station and I had a train to catch soon(barely made it post-dinner though!) The food was good and so was the ambiance. Service was so-so but nothing to complain, especially considering it was an only waitress in a busy time. Definitely a place in the limited choice at Chatham to consider eating out at!

Have now eaten here several times — and admittedly it took a little while to settle out on this one. I try to base reviews in terms of what a restaurant presents itself as or claims to be — or what its rabid fans(if they exist) claim that it is. By that yardstick, Arminio’s is a neighborhood joint more than a fine dining experience — so I could go to a better restaurant and rate it lower if it seems to over-claim. Right. So our first experience here was ordering a pizza take-out. Got home with it and found the crust to be somewhat on the tough side. Hmmm. Much later, did the dine-in thing and found the pizza to be really rather good — mind you, I’d still like a tiny bit more crust and WAY more cheese, sauce and topping than what seems to be the local norm in NJ — but this has a very tasty zip to the sauce that seems to often go missing. Also did the classic carbo load dinner here — spaghetti bolognese. Perfectly seasoned nothing-fancy-about-it spot on. Have also found both in-house and delivery service to be quite cheerful on all occasions. Still struggling with the BYO local custom in a case like this… what I crave right to the core here is a pitcher of Michelob to make the 1982 flashback complete.
