Hey they’re open! I missed this place like crazy. Somewhere in the bowels of Unilocal is my review for their old location. Yep, they still have the same friendly-but-slightly-incompetent counter staff. I love their huevos rancheros sandwich. omg. And their pastries are looking damn fine(did not sample). Their coffee was actually better than it used to be. New location has lots of nice space, included a couple booths as well as tables. My only gripe would be that the booths were a little uncomfortable. Prices are still Chatham-exorbitant. Overall, I think you should check this place out. They got booted from their home location on Main Street after lord-knows how many years of service. I honestly think it’s BS and, since the food is decent, I think Chatham Village deserves your support!

Not sure what the hype is all about at this place. The prices are ok for Chatham but the food was mediocre. Add to that, two different sandwiches we tried to order could not be made because they were out of ingredients(this was a Saturday around 12:30 so not an off hour). The staff were the low point. The Cape hosts/employs a lot of Russian and Eastern European kids in the summer, it always has. I’ve never had a language barrier issue until this place where communication with the staff was mind numbingly tedious. Baked goods were the highlight, thought the half moon cookies were a bit dry.

Heard this place might be for sale, which could mean a drop in quality! The donuts we got today were fresh, delicious, and what a donut should taste like. Brought back memories of childhood and the stop for donuts after church on Sunday mornings. Not sure how other food is there… but as to donuts… AMEN!

we ordered a lobster shaped cake for my grandpa’s lobster-themed 85th birthday, which they said they could make. when we picked up the cake and asked to see it, they said they didn’t make lobster cakes and made us a crab instead with out asking. not only did they make the wrong animal, but parts of the cake weren’t even fully frosted. when we explained that we were eating lobster for dinner and lobster is our grandfather’s favorite food, they were very rude and defensive, refusing to give us any discount or apologize for their mistake. on top of all of that they spelled ‘Grandpa’ wrong… as ‘Grampa’. and this cake cost 40 dollars. I would not recommend this bakery to anyone as they obviously didn’t pay any attention in biology or English class.

I ordered a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for my wife’s birthday. I was a little nervous because my wife is a big cake fan but a bit hard to please. The cake turned out to be amazing. My wife said it was the best cake she’s EVER had. Now that’s quite a complement… trust me.

The line out the door tells the story… this is where Chatham goes for coffee and donuts. The number of retired folk siting at tables outside, joking inside… just needed Norm to walk through the door. The reason? The donuts are amazing. Yes. I picked up a dozen, took them home, and had confirmation of what everyone else has said on Unilocal… possibly the best donut I’ve ever had. Crispy outside, fluffy and cakey inside. Though only a few flavors are available– Boston cream, chocolate glazed, glazed, cinnamon sugar, plain, and sugar– sakes alive, these are amazing. Never got back to try anything else, but geez, I’m not sure I’d want anything else. Gives me reason to vacation in Chatham again.

Out of bagels. All of the bagels. Got a powdered donut instead. It was damn delicious. Go here for the donut!

I don’t give 5 stars often. And I thought the review before me about having the«best donuts she has ever had» was a large claim. But these donuts are seriously the best I have ever had!

The best donuts I’ve had in my life. Hands down. Their jelly donut is a true jelly donut, with homemade raspberry jam and just a sprinkling of sugar on the outside– so the main focus is the jelly, not the white powder you suddenly find all over yourself. Best is to sit outside when the flowers are in bloom at their patio tables. Otherwise, just get the donuts as takeout.

I do hate writing such a negative review of a small business, but I couldn’t find a redeeming quality in any of the items I ordered from this bakery. In the name of supporting small businesses I almost want to lie… but that’s not the Unilocal way. I got a chocolate whoopie pie, almond cookies and a chocolate rum ball. All three were so disappointing that I threw them away after the first bite. Maybe it’s the donuts that keep people coming back… or the support of the small business, as I so wanted to do myself. But nah. There’s gotta be something better. Or maybe I just hit an off day. I hope that’s the case.

Crazy lines on the weekend; get here *early*. Quaint, cute place with nice, harried staff. Donuts… really good donuts, for anyone who needs a reminder what they’re supposed to be like(vs. chemically puff balls). Dense and delicious cake donuts, and light, airy, oh so ephemeral glazed donuts. Did I eat 3? Or was it 4?
