Jabberwocky

I do alot of online shopping; however, I find Jabberwocky to be a wonderful local resource in ways that online shopping cannot fulfill.
It’s owners are extremely patient and helpful with getting me exactly what I want, and also showing me like products that may interest me. If I am looking for something specific that they do not have in stock, they will order it and I will get it within the week.
They are, in particular, is highly knowledgeable about children’s literature current and classic. This is important to me because I buy all prospective mothers children’s books.
They gift wrap and have on occasion been kind enough to personally deliver my items to my door! (This when I was too busy to wait for gift wrapping a number of presents.)
Chatham is a lovely town and visiting a store like Jabberwocky and having lunch at Café Beethoven is a lovely outing.

I do like to support local businesses but with the volume of toys I buy, I find Amazon convenient, less expensive, easy to find things and a huge assortment to choose from. The pros of this store is the local flavor of a single owner who comes to you if you need help with anything and wrap the items if they are gifts. I also find the toys geared towards children under age 7 although there are a handful of items for children over that age.
