A Plus Automotive

Several years ago I paid $ 1200 to fix my 1997 C230’s air conditioning. So when the AC on my 2000 C230K went out a few months ago, I was determined to hold out for as long as possible. I did too, until temperatures hit 113 degrees a few days ago. The first mechanic I took it to couldn’t find the problem, and misdiagnosed it as an electrical fault which he couldn’t fix. He recommended MBZ, the Benz specialists, but they said they didn’t do air conditioning repairs (they were too busy and to far anyway).
So back to Unilocal I went, and chose A-​Plus for the rains and the proximity. It didn’t hurt that they open at 7 am (the early bird catches the worm). Three hours and $ 175 later, my AC was working good as new. Price would have been much lower if Armen hadn’t spent an hour trying to find an electrical problem that didn’t exist. Now I understand why mechanics don’t always trust other mechanics diagnoses.
The place is spacious, clean and well run. I’ll be back.

What an incredible experience! I’m usually very cautious about who I choose to work on my beloved Bimmer, especially with my past experiences with shady mechanics. But rest assured! Your Bimmer is in the hands of a bonafide Bimmer Master, Armen.
I came in knowing that there was an issue with my brakes. Armen took my car for a drive to feel out the kinks. Meanwhile, I was chilling in a very comfy, clean lounge. Armen’s son (Niko, I believe?) then called me out to examine the brake rotors. This was the first time I’ve had a mechanic take me «under the hood» to thoroughly explain what the issue was. I really appreciated that.
I agreed to go with a full replacement of the rotors and brake pads. Armen explained he only uses parts imported from Germany, so you know your car is getting quality parts that will pay off in the long run. I was prepared to chill in the lounge for the duration of the repair, but Armen was kind enough to lend me one of his cars to drive home. What a great gesture!
After roughly 3.5 hours, my car was ready for pick up. Armen assured me that my car was in good condition to drive. We then chatted a bit about Bimmers in general. He took me round back to his garage to show me his beautiful ’85 6 series. My jaw literally dropped! That was very cool of him to express his love for BMW. That’s how I know I can trust my car in his hands.
Overall, great experience! Very please to have finally found my BMW go-​to-​guy. Even when I move out the valley, I’m 100% positive I will make the journey to come back out here. Thanks Armen!

I had a few warning lights come on and Armen diagnosed the issue right away. He topped off my break fluid on the spot. He was incredibly attentive and helpful. He could have easily conned me into having my breaks replaced, but he didn’t.
I was in and out in 5 minutes. I will definitely be back in the future.

Awesome! I went to get new front brakes and rotors and they did an excellent job and their prices are great. I was also impressed how quick they were able to get my car done. While in the waiting room, they continued to provide excellent customer service by asking if I needed anything and they were super friendly if I had any questions. I will recommend them to everyone who needs something done to their car. Next time I need any work to my car I will most definitely be going back here!

Hands down best auto service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Made an appointment with Niko to get new front brakes and rotors installed on my 2012 Mazda Mazdaspeed3. As soon as I pulled in I was greeted by Armen and Niko. First off the shop is nice clean and well maintained. Niko showed me to the customer lounge to hangout while he worked on my car. Lounge was a great spot to hangout with a couch, magazines, tv and to top it all of a pinball machine. Most lounges I go to are nasty but this one was amazing. While waiting Niko came over and then showed me a possible issue with my front shock. Great to have someone looking out for any issues while working on my car. Niko had both my front brakes and rotors installed in just over an hour as he promised.
I’ll be back here every time I need my car worked on. Highly recommend them.

Armen made an excellent job in fixing our old 98 Camry. He explained to my husband in details what was needed to be done. He was efficient and reasonable. He answered his questions patiently. He was honest and gave us reasonable price for the fixes. We would definitely come back if we need some repairs for our car in the future.

I found A Plus on Unilocal when my 2010 Jetta TDI would not start. I had it towed into them and Niko and his team looked into it for me. It only took them an hour to find out the problem (when my car’s oil is too low it won’t start in order to protect the engine). They added some oil and had me pick it back up for free! Fantastic!

I was referred to A-​plus from chatsworth tire.
Niko the son was extremely knowledgeable about my 911 I brought in. I had a simple oil and filter change and charged me much less then if went to the dealer.
The were getting cars from other dealerships which could not fix the problem.
I highly recommend this place for all your car needs.

Very efficient and affordable work on cars, have now taken my car here a couple times for different reasons and have never been disappointed with the outcome. Have already recommended to many friends. The owner is the nicest person and when it comes to customer service this place makes you feel like family taking care of family

I was recommended to Armen from a friend and glad I went to see him. First off the shop is spotless from the mechanics bays to the bathroom. That says a lot about the business especially if its an automotive repair shop. It shows they have pride in their business appearance which would translate to pride in their quality of service. Armen and Niko are very friendly and professional. They gave me good advise, a clean nice loaner car and gave me a great deal for the work they did. My car was finished very quickly and has worked flawless since. I have found a new place to bring my car for service repair and would highly recommend them.

Armen is a true automotive professional! My battery completely died and I called the shop to see if they could help if I was able to get it over there. Got a jump and made it to the shop where Armen greeted me and replaced the battery on the spot. The shop is incredibly clean and reflects the emphasis on superior service to the customer! What I love most about A Plus Automotive is the feeling you get when you walk in. It’s a warm family run business. They listen to all your concerns and explain to you many options you can take if you are unsure of what to do with your car when it doesn’t behave normally. They will tell you if a temporary fix won’t cut it and that you need to replace a part to ensure a safe drive. I respect their honesty and professionalism. I never have to worry about how my car will run after I leave this place. Niko is great with my friends and coworkers cars that I send his way and they thank me for mentioning him all the time. Definately grade A service. Trusted my gut on a shop close to work and glad I did. Walked in for a standard oil change for my mothers Honda and ended up coming back to bring my bmw (after seeing their magazine mentioned cars and articles). Knowledgeable and helpful, the father and son team, Armin and Niko let me know what I could do with my budget. My extra small student budget. From step 1 to releasing the car they let me know what was going on and how the car was. Really appreciate the effort put into my car and walked out feeling like I’ve known them for years. Finally!!!

I was going crazy looking for a decent shop in the west valley area to install an after market clutch in my 2015 Volkswagen GTI. After searching and searching I was able to find A plus after driving up and down looking for shops. What caught my eye was how clean and neat this shop was, no tools all over or parts laying on the floor like most shops around here. Decided to talk to Armen and he was very professional, gave me a really good price on the clutch install and gave me a quick turn around time.
I don’t really trust any shops or mechanics but this one I do. I would recommend it to anyone hands down!
