Since this is a public forum where comments are censored, here are inadequate but socially acceptable adjectives regarding the employee Edward: Disinterested, Rude, Aggressive, Unhelpful, Dismissive, Sociopathic and Haughty (no clue why). Instead of fishing, maybe Keith should stick around his shop and observe how his employees treat customers and DO something about it. To be honest, we only dealt with Edward (twice — we gave him a second chance to be a human being — he failed both times), but we are not interested in giving the other employees a chance to flip us off, too. There are hundreds of other local roof suppliers that treat clients with respect — go to them (I’ll post some on this site). And, not that JB or Edward care, but they lost 8 properties’ worth of roofing business. Back atcha, Edward! (Clarification: NO STARS).

Terrible! I called the Ventura office for a quote on materials to re-roof my house. I took the time to give a detailed list of what I needed, while the man I was speaking to just wanted to rush me off the phone. He said that he would call back with a quote, but NEVER DID! Thanks for wasting my time.
My next call was to Rick at Allied Building Supply. He had a quote in my email inbox in less than 10 minutes, and was very helpful and excellent to deal with.

I just came back from the US Post office, after receiving a Certified Letter from JB Wholesale in Chatsworth. I had to go to the post office and sign for it… what was it? Good question… it was a notice that PERHAPS my CONTRACTOR had not paid THEM for the roofing supplies. Amazing… why does JB not contact the roofer who bought the merchandise. instead of sending certified letters to the contractor’s customer… They are amazing… The phone call said «They are required to send these letter»…by whom, you might ask? This company may or may not have been paid by my contractor (they really even didn’t know the answer) –Yet they still send CERTIFIED LETTERS to their customers! Whoever heard of such low behavior.

This place is great, I helped my dad out with some leaks from the last rain and these guys gave us the product and the knowledge to fix it. Unlike Home Depot that just kept giving us the run around.
