3 of us went to Applebee’s this afternoon to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We’re young seniors & had mixed impressions of this restaurant. Every item we ordered was top notch. We all agreed the sweet potato fries were the best we’d tasted anywhere. The spinach/​artichoke dip was great. The entrées, also. Our server couldn’t have been more attentive or friendly. We topped it off with the mini-​brownie with a dab of ice cream. Very pleased all around. I’m often disappointed when I eat out, but not this time!

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had
Went there to try the «all in burger»

Well I’ve had bigger burgers at McDonalds. The fries on the plate didn’t even cover the plate. Service was slow, the waitress didn’t come to the table to ask if we wanted more fries. The restaurant wasn’t busy. The was a Sunday around 4pm.
For the price charged, the poor service and the small portion definitely not worth it. Will never patronize this location again and will never make the mistake of ordering the «all in burger» again.

Food was good — love their light menu more than most. Had the Shrimp & Broccoli Cavatappi and it was great for under 600 calories. Service was a little slow, had a new waiter but 4 stars for the food.

Food and service was banner this evening! Sadly they have added a new feature. A yelling order chef. A female with a piercing voice tone. Very obnoxious! If I want this I’ll go over to waffle house. (Or she should).
