I’m original from Chicago and this pizza is very good. The best pizza place in Chattanooga. My wife loves the roasted mushroom and the chorizo. My favorite is the demarco is my favorite. The service is great and love the atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone.

uh-mazing pizza. best pizza in Chattanooga! FOOD: you can order by the pie or you can order by the slice. They have make your own pies or slices. Slices: there are 4 choices: cheese, pepperoni, slice of the day, and customized. btw its NY style!!! so come here if you like that type of pizza. ITALIAN pizza: the pizza of the day for me was the italian. and it was SOGOOD! i loved the addition of the chilies(or chipotles?) and i loved the addition of the basil. DRINKS: i got a peach sangria. SOOGOOOOD. best drink in chattanooga. note: sangrias are ½ price on sangria saturdays aka making it only $ 3! atmosphere: great place to eat, chill, and watch games! theres a bar area and theres tons of TVs around the room where you can catch a game. COOLTHING: they have milk and honey gelato and coffee there! its like a mini milk/honey inside community pie. come here if you love pizza and you love ny style and you love hanging out with friends at a cool space!

Great food, cheap beer, excellent service make this place a must try. We tried the Drunk Pig and Bianca Supreme pies. Both were very good. The pig was a little spicy. Make sure you bring good company to enjoy this place. Have fun and Enjoy.

Our first time here from out of town. The Eggplant Parmesan plate was delicious. My husband said the Meatball Sandwich was the best he’s eaten. Service was amazing!!!

Cool place! Came by for lunch after a meeting downtown. Tried one of their sandwiches and the kale salad. Not a fan of berries on a salad, but this salad was great! Parking was easy and service was good. Definitely interested to come back and try their pizza and gelato!

Way overpriced for pizza. Nice space, beautiful ceiling, bar area is nice in summer. But again it’s a pizza place so the main thing pizza and is nothing special especially verses other nearby offerings like lupi’s. Bad parking.

I was in Chattanooga for a conference and looking for a good place to eat. The reviews for Community Pie were pretty good and it was close so we gave it a shot. We LOVED the atmosphere and received excellent and very friendly service. I ordered the«Sweet Fig» pizza which totally hits some of my favorite ingredients: prosciutto, arugula, goat cheese and slight sweetness of figs. The flavors were very well balanced and it was a light and fresh pizza– I loved it! We finished off the meal with a kids serving of gelato that was also delicious! No complaints here!

I LOVE nothing more than finding amazing local food when we travel. It’s one of the reasons I love Unilocal. And Community Pie definitely did not disappoint. Love the area it’s in. Love the look. Love the amazing pizza. You can choose between Neapolitan style or New York Style. Get the garlic knots. I almost fought my kids for them. We ordered the vodka pie Neapolitan style. And for my picky pizza eaters, they let me order whatever and REALLY liked the pizza. If we hadn’t had plans for alternate dessert, we probably would have ordered some gelato. We travel for cheer and if we travel back next season, I will be back.

Love this place! My beautiful gf and I always stop by for their ricotta and honey appetizer and a few drinks. Love the atmosphere, especially eating on the outdoor balcony when the weather is nice… bartenders and very friendly and will warn you when you’ve ordered your third $ 20 drink! Very much recommend…

Pizza is, by far, my favorite food, so I take it pretty seriously! Haha. A friend brought me to this place, and went on and on about how much she loves it, so I was expecting something really great… probably got my expectations up too high. We first ordered an Italian salad, with lots of yummy toppings, and served with a delicious vinaigrette. I loved the salad(I suppose I should have stopped there). I had a Neapolitan Pie, specifically the«pork confit» pie. All I can say is… My friend ordered the«sweet fig» pie, which she let me try, and I could only stomach one bite. I was so unimpressed by both pizzas, that I sent all of my leftovers home with my friend. The service was ok– certainly friendly– but very forgetful. No silverware, no napkins, none of the extras that we asked for, and empty drink glasses for a majority of our meal. I most likely won’t return to this establishment.

The atmosphere is good, with a view of the kitchen and ovens. But it can be a little loud so it’s hard to hear. We each ordered our own pizzas, they are big so you’ll have some leftovers. The flavors are pretty good but the pizza is floppy and a little greasy. I ordered the Spicy Bianca, it’s good but the spice is pretty powerful. Drink lots of water with it.

Maybe I just had a random bad experience seeing as others are giving this place rave reviews. I ordered the Garlic Knots as an appetizer along with the Spicy Bianca New York Style pizza. My waiter took an abnormally long time to bring me my water. After waiting around 25 minutes for my appetizer, my pizza showed up brought by a completely different waiter. I asked them if they knew if the Garlic Knots were coming out soon, and they seemed surprised and went to check about them. My original waiter came out a minute later saying he forgot to put the appetizer in. I told him that was fine and ate a slice of my pizza while I waited. The pizza was very spicy, which I was expecting, but by the time my app came out I needed a refill. While I waited for my refill I tried the Garlic Knots. I should mention that I am a vegetarian and on the menu it states specifically that the Garlic Knots are served with marinara sauce. I took one bite dipped in the marinara and instantly tasted pork. I discretely spat the food out. My waiter came back, and I asked him if there was pork in the marinara sauce, and he had to go to the cooks to ask them. He came back and told me it has a pork base. I explained to him that I was a vegetarian and that marinara sauce does not have meat in it. If it does, it isn’t marinara sauce. He brought out regular sauce for me which I was thankful for. In the end, the food wasn’t worth the price and neither was my experience. I wish they would change their menu to not say marinara sauce when it clearly isn’t.

Yum! Their pizza crust is probably the best crust I’ve ever had anywhere. It has this hint of sweetness and it’s baked just right so it achieves the perfect balance between chewy and crunchy. There are also lots of interesting and delicious topping combos to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable. Go with friends so you can all get different pizzas and share. Finish off the meal with gelato from Milk & Honey!

Great pizza and service. Had the kale salad, was great, sweet and tangy, the margarita pizza pictured in my review, amazing. I ate the whole thing. Able to sit and people watch at the open window, service was excellent and friendly. Reminds me of your local hole in the wall bar. Gotta try if in the area!

Read the many reviews on Unilocal… decided this would be our pizza night for Chattanooga… and we were not disappointed! Wifey and I shared the Pork Confit pie… House-made San Marzano tomato sauce, slow-cooked pork shoulder, calabrian chilies, hand torn basil, smoked mozzarella, fresh mozzarella and sea salt. Wildly good! The calabrian chilies are smoky and tasty without being too hot. Everything else just worked! One small complaint… the«center» of the pie was not done… I know with this style of pizza that this is not unusual… but…this had almost no crust in the middle. Almost too thin… I want a bit of crust when I bite into my pizza… not just cheese and toppings… so…a bit shy on this point. Not enough that I would not go back… or give it a pretty good rating… overall…really pretty good. Service was excellent… and on a busy Friday night… so…good job…

Our intention was to go somewhere else for lunch but they weren’t able to accommodate us so we stumbled upon Community Pie. Oh my GRACIOUS this place is incredible. INCREDIBLE. Had two pizzas, both neapolitan style. First up, the sweet fig. I cannot describe the sweet goodness that is this pizza. The gorgonzola cheese and kalamata olives gave just the right amount of tang to balance the sweetness of the figs. Next up, the chorizo. The savory flavors in this spicy(but not super spicy) pizza were perfect. The use of smoked mozzarella vs regular was a fantastic call. I was so impressed by the combination of toppings and the heartiness of them — no skimping here. If you’ve had Antico Pizza in Atlanta or DeSano Pizza Bakery in Nashville… this is better. The atmosphere and environment are great. Cool chandeliers hanging, urban industrial feel. Loved it. They serve Milk and Honey breakfast, some gelato, and coffee… I mean… seriously? Can’t get better. My only complaint was that the kids menu spaghetti with a meatball was $ 7. Seemed a little steep compared to other places in the area, and for pasta. But it is pasta imported from Italy and the sauce was housemade… so I get it. If the price was slightly lower, I’d have no complaints. I’m already planning a return trip!

Loved the room! A very nice blend of a specific cuisine and local fare.(Craft beers) I like the melding of the day parts with Milk & Honey for breakfast and coffees all in the same footprint. I was very excited waiting on the pizza. Then it just did not deliver for me. I was so sad. Looking forward to as advertised a New York style pizza. Maybe I should have added extra cheese, not sure. Just was normal kinda dry pizza. No stretch of cheese in the first bite, no grease running down your wrist. Darn it!

This pizza is delicious! We were passing through Chattanooga and wanted some good New York style pizza… well, we found it! We started things off with an order of garlic knots. These little nuggets of goodness were great. Then, our pizza’s arrived. It was only me and my wife in our party, but we ordered a Meatball NY Pie and a Margharita Neopolitan Pie. We figured it would be good to take the rest home in a box. House made meatballs on the Meatball Pie! This place is the real deal. We travel through Chattanooga frequently, so this is definitely a spot we’ll stop at again! Way to go Community Pie… you guys are great!

This is another trendy place downtown Chattanooga. We were greeted immediately and seated by their courteous staff. Service was very good throughout our meal. Each of us ordered our own 12″ Neapolitan pizza which is more than anyone should eat. They offer two types of pizzas, Neapolitan and New York. Neapolitan is supposed to be more traditional Italian as it is baked in a brick oven and New York is baked in a regular oven. Both are thin crust style pizzas so if you prefer Chicago style pizza this may not be for you. Beware, Neapolitan may have some charring on the crust. The waiter also explained this. I ordered the Pork confit pizza and my wife ordered the BBQ Chicken. My Pork pizza had pulled pork, fresh basil, and Calabrian chilies with smoked mozzarella cheese. This was a gourmet style pizza which looked and tasted good but I have to say I didn’t like the Calabrian chilies… too salty for me. My wife’s BBQ Chicken pizza was very good. I liked hers better than mine. Overall I’d say it was good gourmet style pizza but for me Lupi’s still takes the pizza crown in Chattanooga.

Back in town for 2 ½ days. .. and I eat at CP twice. I just love this place, and not just for nostalgic, I’m-quitting-Chatt reasons(though for those as well). That spaghetti and meatballs I love — they will also do just the spaghetti. Same deliciousness, and enough that I had some for dinner and the rest for breakfast(moving means nada in the fridge so…). If you like arugula, definitely try their salad; one of my fave salads ever is a fresh arugula one with shaved parm and a lemony vinagreitte — in a half($ 4) or a whole($ 7) this is one of the best versions I have had anywhere. Simple and delicious. And re slices — just cheese is $ 3 and pepperoni is $ 3.50. Get the healthy salad; go with a slice of pepperoni. Now that M&H is also«in house» you have more gelato options to go with for a finishing palate cleanser. Go when you are in town. Yum.
