For real? This was my first awesome tasting experience since moving back to the South 3 years ago and I have been to SOMANY vineyards down here in that time.(Backstory: I moved to GA from Virginia, where I was at a different winery practically every weekend.) The tasting room is in a neighborhood that looks like it’s on the up and up(in other words: gentrification), and the tasting room is lovely. Very sophisticated interior and a cool bar. The person heading my tasting was a redhead and I forget her name, though based on the language she was using I’m pretty sure she’s a manager of some sort. I tasted 5 wines and bought two bottles of white wine: the Albarino and the Chardanooga. I also LOVED this one red wine when I can’t remember the name of. It recently won a best of award at some wine competition and you can tell. It was kinda pricey so I didn’t buy a bottle, but I kind of regret not splurging. The best thing about my tasting was that the service was not overly attentive(though I was the only person there at the time) and I was able to get some decent tasting notes by asking. I’m still waiting to go to a tasting in the south where you don’t have to pry info on the wine out of the person pouring, but this was much better than what I’ve experienced so far. I’d give 5 stars if the tasting was more informative and assumed that customers wanted to know about wine and not just drink. FYI, you can sell more wine that way!

We had a great time sampling the wines and learning all about them. Didn’t get the guy’s name who helped us, but he was awesome. We left there with a couple of nice bottles. Will definitely be back!

My first experience at a winery. Tim was very friendly and knowledgeable about DeBarge product. I’m a sweet wine drinker, but their wines are so good, we ended up leaving with 3 bottles, mine being Chardonnay(so crisp!). It was a very nice experience. I wish we could have stayed loner, but had other things on the itinerary. If you’re in Chattanooga, stop by. $ 5 per 4 pours.

I visited this winery this past weekend and want to return already. Before planning my visit I requested information from their website and was rather impressed that the response time was so quick. The wine selections and customer service were exceptional. Tim provided a background about the winery, gave us an insight on the winemaking process, and opened my palate to new wine types. I usually stick to Chardonnay and Pinot but after sampling a variety of other wines I am more open to different kinds. Needless to say we left with three bottles, including Chardonnay lol. Many of the wine bottles are less than $ 20 and the tastings are $ 5 for every 4 wines sampled. This is a great place to come if you just want to split a bottle among friends or get into trying different kinds of wine.

I dragged my boyfriend here in attempt to increase his appreciation of grape juice and deconstruct his stereotype of wine snobs. We initially had our doubts as we walked past the church towards the unassuming entrance next door. The tasting room is pretty small, which we were worried could get awkwardly intimate. Luckily, we had nothing to worry about. Not only was Tim super friendly and knowledgable, but also really chill. They have a $ 5 tasting for 4 wines or $ 10 tasting for 8. If you buy a bottle, they’ll credit one $ 5 tasting toward the price of the bottle. It was a great experience and a ton of fun. Highly recommended!

This is a new place in Chattanooga and can’t wait until they start making wine right there. The currently offered selections are a bit hit/miss, but the staff are great and the buildout is very nice. I’ll be back here as time rolls on to watch and taste the progress.

Upscale yet homey atmosphere to sample and enjoy wine. Whether you want to stay awhile or just sample, the wine is worthy of bringing home, too. Lovely place.
