This is a great new spot, but is still in its infancy. The staff is great, but they need to fine tune some things. Hidden strip mall type building with a gravel lot. Cool ambiance, spacious, 2 sofas, 4 soft chairs, and lots of large tables. Music was just right. But the breakfast pastry selection is extremely limited. The Nutella muffin was good, not great. And no offer to warm it up. The latte was good, not great. Their cookies were sitting by the register, uncovered. And a barista should know that when I ask for a latte with 1 sugar, I mean that they should put it in the espresso or milk before steaming it, not bring me a packet to add after it is complete. Stirring it after destroys the head. But, they are planning to add more breakfast items, and they did agree to just cook me plain bacon, which was good. I feel they are flexible and will get there soon. 3.5 stars

Convenient Southside location(convenient to me at least since I live in MLK) and tons of space to spread out make this a unique new offering for coffee lovers. I love the big tables and huge old windows. If you need the buzz of a coffee shop but don’t want to be sitting right next to someone this could be a good choice. GF also took the step of getting a beer and wine license which makes it much more attractive to those of us who don’t drink coffee after noon. Watch the calendar for special events, as the owner is very easy to work with and will certainly prove popular with event organizers. They often have live music open to the public as well.

Best coffee in town. Great space in the exploding Main Street district. Friendly people. Food looked delicious. I saw a BLT that was really nicely assembled and banana pudding in a small Mason jar. The banana pudding is $ 3.50 but you get a $ 1 back when you bring the jar back, as I understand it. Huge place with lots of seating. Live music on their stage.

Awesome atmosphere for hanging out, working, or both. We tried some sandwiches tonight that were pretty great. The BLT subbed with avocado is a delicious vegetarian option and very filling. The iced coffee on tap is a MUSTTRY. My husband and I both had a sip and went, «woah.»

Great coffee. Probably the best cup of coffee I’ve had in Chattanooga in several months. Limited baked goods, but appetizing. Tried a scone, tasted like baking powder with a hint of rosemary. Will definitely be back for coffee and to checkout the evening entertainment options.

Great space and plenty of it! Forget the tinny, tiny coffee shops you are used to and come here. Great sandwiches and sweets. I spent a whole day working here. They have good music at moderate levels, fast free wifi, an awesome open atmosphere, and really friendly employees. Two thumbs up!

It’s the dream of the 90’s meets the new Chattanooga. I freakin love it! Real coffee house vibe. Menu: killer coffee concoctions, fresh baked goodies, delicious sandwich & salad combos, unique feisty fusions

Checked out Gran Falloon for the first time today. Coffee was on point They’re serving both local and regional coffees with a knowledgeable and driven staff and combining that with good gear and a clean space. Menu is very simple but executed well. Had a sandwich and it was super tasty… chicken, bacon, pesto mayo… say no more. Check this place out.
