Burned the bottom of the pizza. I picked it up on my way home to prove to my Mom that there are better pizzas than Dominos. Jokes on me. Picture will be added. Two stars because the manager, though he seemed distracted and annoyed by my call, offered to send me a gift card. I politely refused. I wont go back. It’s humiliating when my Mom is all, «See? My $ 5 pizzas aren’t burnt!»

Great pizza with fresh ingredients. Crust was amazing!!! Was still delicious leftover. Pricey for a pie but it was made with unique ingredients that made it worth it. We ordered the Holy Shiitake pizza with beef. Lots of great options which made it difficult to decide. We were able to sit on the bar side away from the heavy population of kids and families. Our server was one of the bartenders and she was extremely nice and helpful. Recommendable!

FAR too overpriced, service was well below average and the atmosphere was too much. Too many things everywhere which I suppose is meant to distract you from the $ 30 pizza’s and hour long wait for food. No thanks!

I ate way too much but it was great. I had the steak calzone and a salad. The prices were higher than I anticipated and it killed my daily expense report amount but I really enjoyed it and talking with a bunch of great people. Especially the staff at the bar; who were really helpful and looked after us.

Great pizza restaurant and bar! A little pricy but not your average pizza dinner! Nice layout and modern deco! Friendly staff!

I found the pizza to be lacking toppings. I have eaten at several Mellow Mushrooms in a number of locations and normally find them to be topping heavy. The flavor was good and the staff friendly, but for $ 25 I expect some toppings. Looking around I could see I was not the only one getting shorted. I will continue to eat at Mellow Mushroom, just not this one.

I live in Cleveland but when in Chatt my boyfriend and I enjoy a good pizza pie from here. We are always seated quickly and the servers are friendly and attentive. They have some good specials depending on what day you go. Can’t beat $ 1 draft beers! We always get the red skin potato pie but tried the buffalo chicken last time, good but not as great as the potato pizza. I love the crust, it’s light and fluffy. I believe they use whole wheat dough. The environment is super cool and there is a lot of neat artwork and paintings around. They have several TVs so there is something to watch. My only issues would be that it’s kind of a mix of a bar and kid’s place. I often see parents drinking there with their kids in tow, which I don’t really agree with(especially when they are pounding back tequila shots!). The prices are also really steep which keeps us from ordering appetizers or salads when the pizza is going to be over $ 20. We’ll certainly be back and enjoy the atmosphere and fresh pizza!

I went for a Unilocal event. They served up a great little sampling of their food. The star of the menu to me personally was«The Herb». I was pleasantly shocked at the great flavor! I’ve never been a fan of veggie burgers so I decided to go in for it before trying«The Carnie»(for the carnivorous). After eating the Herb, I hate to say it but I was let down by the Carnie. Not that it’s a bad burger mind you, it’s actually a great hamburger, it’s just that the Herb was that great. Our server was wonderful. A really cool space. I will definitely go here again soon to have the Herb.

This restaurant has been opened for a few years now according to the hostess. It’s located on a road off of Exit 5 on the right side. Customer Service: As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a friendly hostess with a smile who then seats you. We had a great waitress who took really good care of us. Never saw the bottom of of my drink as she kept it full at all times. We had a sample platter of different kinds of foods. It was delicious and the atmosphere was ambient with a great hospitality. The surrounding were surreal where I saw many features that stood out. You will see these walking to the bathrooms. In this area is what I call«Hotel City», «Restaurant City», and just a plain old big area that I also call«Shopping City». In other words, you can work all week and spend your money in this area on the weekend. The mall is close by as well as numerous popular places to shop and eat out. For the tourists, they can stay nearby at a number of hotels. I like this area myself. In summary. I like this restaurant and will be back to check out the bar on any given weekend. I will take some pictures too at that time.

I love the pizza at Mellow but was surprised that they started offering burgers. The veggie style(with kale, quinoa, mushrooms and more) was by far my favorite and worth another visit on its own. Beer cheese dip is so delicious it feels like a crime leaving any uneaten. The staff at the Waterside site are super friendly to boot.

Got the chance to check out the location through an UYE(special thanks to Steph :)) Got to try some of the new menu items they were featuring like the burgers, bruschetta, salad, and pretzels with dip. As much as I love meat, I fell in love with the Herb Veggie Burger. I thought about it again today. Hahaha. The combination of quinoa, mushrooms, kale, and brown rice gave the patty an almost-meaty texture. It was quite awesome. Plus, the lettuce, tomato, onion, and avocado complemented the veggie patty so well. This burger beat out the actual hamburger patty, although the Carnie burger wasn’t bad either. The salad was really good too. There were dried cherries, apples, and feta cheese, and pecans on a bed of spinach leaves. The dressing was good, some sort of balsamic. Our server was great and all in all, we had a great time. =)

Just sampled the burgers. Herb veggie burger was actually very tasty. Onion, tomato, lettuce and avocado. The bun was really good. The Carnie(beef) pub burger was excellent. Very good. Would def get again.

You can’t go wrong with Mellow Mushroom. MM never fails to deliver great pizza! We started our meal with hot pretzels, because… why not? Right?!! Right. For pizza, we ordered the Mighty Meat. Loaded and delicious. Perfectly cooked. Love their crust! MM’s prices are steeper than your average pizza joint, but I still really love them and am willing to pay the extra cash. I do have to mention that service was a bit slow at this location and our waitress wasn’t very attentive… which didn’t affect the deliciousness of our pizza!

This Mellow Mushroom is as much fun as the downtown Chattanooga location. Great options for non-carnivores, expanding all the time. Today we were taken care of by the charming Ms. Ashley. Very nice lady, so cool! Food was great, service was great … the standard at Mellow Mushroom. Come here! Or else!

Everything was OK. It was kinda expensive for what it was. I don’t mind paying more for a phenomenal pizza, but this pizza was average. My wife and I did enjoy the beer selection though.

This is a weird Mellow Mushroom for me. Of all the locations I’ve been to over the years(probably about 10 different ones), this one seems the most corporate. The metal tables and décor make this location seem very cold and impersonal compared to the coziness of other locations, including the downtown one. I actually had written this place off about a year ago because the metal tables in the middle of the dining room are very uncomfortable and every time a server walked by I was bumped in the head or the back. However, after running some errands in Hamilton Place I was about ready to murder someone and needed a beer. My husband and I stopped in here but sat at the bar and our experience was completely different. Amber has been our bartender a couple times now and she is wonderful. Friendly, attentive but doesn’t hover if you just want to chill out for a bit with your beer. You know, like a bartender should be. Since you can order from their full menu at the bar, we’ve taken to doing that and it’s a much better experience than in the regular dining area. They have a really big selection of draft beer and great food. My only suggestion is that when you go here, sit at the bar instead of in the dining area.

Haven’t been to this location and had the opportunity to go for team trivia. I like Mellow Mushroom downtown so I knew what the food would be like. The space is nice and big with plenty of seating. It was crowded with lots of people there for trivia. Got to give mad props to the best server I’ve ever had, Jordan. He had a very full section but never seemed stressed and was very friendly and had it all together. Even when I couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted, he was patient and made sure to check back on me. I ordered the Thai pizza and while it was good, it wasn’t very Thai tasting. I’ll order a different pizza next time. The others at my table ordered pizzas that looked super yummy. Definitely would go back. I must mention the restrooms. Thank you for putting hooks up everywhere. This is a small attention to detail that means so much to us ladies. The bathroom is very clean and that also impressed me. But really, the hooks… you had me at the hooks. That pushed my review up to 5 stars.

This, a regional chain featuring tongue-in-cheek menu descriptions, decent service, and open seating; offered in somewhat noisy dining environs.(Average 88 db, bout an average high-school cafeteria volume); Despite a heavy rush of orders flushed into th kitchen, my order, a Mighty Meaty pizza offering, which though slightly over-cooked, and a bit greasy, arrived in good time. My beer, Chicbock, was served at precisely the correct temperature. The menu offered gluten-free and true vegan offerings, a trend-setting development in this region, and a welcome change for those following dietary regimens. After eating at both the west Knoxville and ‘nooga locations, I could best describe Mellow Mushroom as a 21st century version of a now-defunct pizza chain: Shakeys. Shakeys was loud, basic, and a great place for friends to gather. Mellow Mushroom is a great gathering place. I don’t think I’d drive past my fav local pizzeria for a solo dinner at M/M, but Mellow Mushroom is perfect for groups OR for anyone moteling in the East Shallowford Road area. Decently clean, well-lighted(inside & out), Mellow Mushroom is a solid staple in the ‘nooga pizza market.

The quick review: My wife proclaimed this«her favorite restaurant in Tennessee.» :) Now I am sure there are other good places to eat, but here is why it gets 5 stars. The server Lyndsi. Seems to me she was expertly handling a good number of guests by herself and did a great job. They ought to double her pay. She was perfect in every way when she handled our table. Just that right mix of friendliness without trying to be facebook pals if you know what I mean. She knew what we wanted, she knew the beers, she knew the food. We are vegan, and we like beer, and pizza. Which to many people seems odd, but I like pizza crust, marinara sauce, veggie toppings. Normally here in Tennessee, I order pizza without cheese. Which is fine. But we found out that MM has vegan Daiya cheese? Yay! I ordered some local Stout which at $ 5 is a bargain. It looks like the happy hours would be even a better deal and if I lived closer, I might become a fixture. My wife ordered an IPA which she loved. We started with the hummus appetizer. Nice crisp pita breads. Hummus with olive oil, a bit of basil. Quite tasty. When I ordered the pizza, it was quite refreshing to tell Lyndsi that we were vegan and to have her KNOW this meant no dairy. No butter. No cheese. Awesome. She recommended the vegan Mega Veggie with Daiya Cheese. It was very good. See pic.
