I’ve heard of Mojo, but none of the locations are close to where we live. So, we hadn’t ever tried them. This weekend, we were at a school function by the location on Jenkins Rd and decided to try it for lunch. Totally glad we did! We lived in San Diego for 8 years, and have been missing some of those amazing SoCal burritos since we left. The big chains are ok, but they just didn’t hit it exactly right. Mojo totally nailed what I had been looking for! Both my daughter and I are vegetarians. So, we were stoked to see the options for us labeled on the board. She had an Elmo burrito and I tried the Chili-Cheese burrito, just to see what it was like. Both were a hit. She loved hers. I had to keep reminding her to breathe between bites it was so good. I loved mine, too. If I had any negative, it might be that it could have used a little more of the chili, but honestly, the whole thing was so good, that I would absolutely eat it again the way it is. The salsa was amazing. The only other thing I could say is that my daughter thought the chips were a little thick. Not bad. Just a preference thing. This is my new favorite spot for burritos in the area. I can’t wait to bring the rest of the family. I think even the meat eaters will love it as much as we do. I’m really thrilled about the Lily bowl on the menu, too. My youngest never wants a anything but a big bowl of rice and beans and I’m so stoked to see that on the menu somewhere finally as a kids item. We will be back for sure!

Probably the closest I will ever get to good Mexican food in Chattanooga, so I’ll take it! We were recommended to Mojo’s by a friend after having heard me complain about how badly I missed taco shop food from my native California. My family and I were pleasantly surprised at how good Mojo was. The place was clean and everyone behind the counter was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. We ordered the Macho Nachos and the Enchiladito. Both were very good and VERYFRESH! We will definitely be back.

Came in looking for a snack… Usually get burritos when at this type of spot but went with the tacos. Flour tortilla was good and I got rice/beans, lettuce tomatoes with guacamole. I tried to switch the cheese for the guacamole but she said she couldn’t. Then after however she offers to give me a side of rice with beans free of charge! She tatkes care of her vegan customers

Not as good as I was hoping should be the title of this review. I have to say this is my second experience with Mojo burrito. A long time ago I was invited to lunch with a group of my colleagues. We ate at the Mojo burrito on Dayton Boulevard. This was approximately five maybe six years ago. I thought the food was OK. But I seem to remember thinking that it was overpriced for what I had. So I was never interested in going back. Tonight I was invited to go with a friend of mine. He got there about 1015 minutes ahead of me. When I pulled in the parking lot, There were no spaces to pull into. It was a busy time and I had to wait for someone else to pull out in order for me to have a parking space. Not a big deal, but I consideration nonetheless. I walked in and there was about 10 people in front of me in the line. Looking behind the counter, I could see there were four or five employees that were constructing everyone’s orders. I thought, this should go by really fast considering Moes usually only has one or two employees making all the burritos. Boy was I mistaken. I was in line, no lie, for 15 to 20 minutes. Just waiting on a burrito. Now I’m not usually an impatient person, but I felt it was a little ridiculous for that many people to be working behind the counter and the service to be so slow. Finally I got up to the counter, and was greeted with a smile and a friendly worker. He asked me all the questions to know what kind of burrito I wanted and walk me through it. I progressed down the counter telling each employee the next step in the construction of my burrito. Then I got to the counter that I pay yet. I knew that the burritos were kind of expensive and I didn’t happen to check how much the drinks were, but my bill was 12 ½ dollars. Some people will probably say that the burritos are worth 12 ½ dollars at this restaurant — but I tend to disagree. By this point, I was ready to sit down and eat. I was starving. And I didn’t have a lot of time to eat. I finally got to the table, and my colleague was already done eating. I shoveled down my burrito, which had good flavor, But a small portion. I ordered the steak Mojo burrito, and I must have gone the end of the steak from that batch. It always seems like I get the very last bit, which is usually not as fresh as what is being served first. Mine was chewy and some of it was a little tough. I powered through it, as it cost me nearly 13 bones. I know I keep harping on the price, all I know, is either they over charged me or it’s kind of expensive for what it is. No I didn’t get a copy of my receipt. No I didn’t go make a big deal. It was worth the extra money to not have to hassle with somebody and hold up the entire line. I usually spend five or six dollars on my lunch when I’m at work. So this was a bit of a splurge. I wasn’t going to let it go to waste because I wasn’t raised that way. I can’t say that the food was bad, but my experience was not a good one. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant seemed clean enough. It looks like a marriage between Lupi’s and Moes. My buddy looked at me after we are finished, and he said, you’re not gonna come back with me are you? I said nah, probably not. I will say this. If you’re a vegetarian, this would probably be like veggie heaven for you. I’m not vegan or vegetarian, so it does really float my boat. But I did notice there were a ton of vegetarian choices on the menu.

Service is great. They are usually packed when I go but the process of ordering/paying for food in the line runs smoothly. Everything is fresh and unique compared to the larger chain burrito places. We go every week for Taco Tuesday!

I’ve been meaning to try this place for the two years I’ve lived here but I always end up choosing a sit down, table service Mexican restaurant instead. Finally today I gave in and enjoyed the experience. I had the BBQ chicken nachos and thought they were great. My vegetarian wife had a difficult time choosing something because there was just so much for her to choose from. She settled with a type of bowl that was rice topped with a vegetarian chili and liked it a lot. We both agreed that we’d like to see this local establishment open a store by our Ooltewah home in the Cambridge Square development. My work from home wife admitted she would probably eat lunch there weekly since it’s so quick and good.

Bland and over-priced. Nothing special about what I ate– the specialty burrito… I assume the mojo. Won’t go back. Over 12.00 for a burrito and a tiny side of guacamole.

Great décor, awesome beer, even better food. I had the Nemo Burrito and have to admit I’ve never had a burrito quite like this. The cashier recommended a local beer which was wonderful. And I happened to snag a bite of guacamole from my cousin which was life altering. I plan to eat here again if given half the chance

Eh, it was just ok. Not sure if they are trying to be like some of the other«quick serve Mexican» places, but I think they miss greatly on the food. Had a taco salad with chicken — -there was nothing good about it from the lettuce to the chicken etc. Service was good but I was there for a quick lunch and it left me wondering what was for dinner. After eating, I looked over the menu and noticed it has a lot of other items that are totally unrelated to Mexican food. I find that if a place looks to be one thing but offers too varied a menu, they often lose focus on their their main menu.

Awesome place. In my search for better(more authentic) Mexican food, as well as Vegetarian and Vegan friendly food, we gave Mojo a try. Great experience. Parking is easy in this lot(though I dislike the congestion around Gunbarrel road). You go the counter and place your order and then slide down the counter adding your choices of toppings. They seem very flexible. If I had to compare it, for those that know Chipotle… this is like an eclectic homey Chipotle with their own take on things. Not a clone by any means. But similar. Our meal came with a basket of chips and salsa and we asked for the serving of Guacamole. The chips were fine. The salsa and the Guac were very good, just like back home. Best guac I have had in Tennessee so far. Chunks of avocado, onions and tomatoes. Yes! The salsa also had evidence of real ingredients, none of that red ketchup looking stuff I have gotten at a few local places. We ordered a bowl of the vegetarian chili with some cilantro, green onions and salsa on top. It was very good with a hint of fire. Nice with a pit of the Guac and the chips. Almost a meal right there. I ordered the burrito with black beans and rice and added guac, onions, tomatoes. We also ordered the three veggie tacos with black beans and rice and added lettuce, tomatoes, onions. You can get tacos hard or soft. The food was very good and the two of us could not finish it. I think the burrito and one bowl of chili could fill up a couple. The service was great. Hint to server. If you handed me my change with singles in it, I can then put a few in the tip jar. Only having fives and tens, had me throwing loose coins in the jar. Sorry. I will make it up next time. Total of all three items plus one IPA beer and one bottled root beer, was $ 24. A good deal. We also ordered to go a steak quesadilla for the mother in law. Reports are she really liked it. It came with sour cream and salsa and looked pretty good. We liked the vibe and the interior. Kind of quirky and eclectic. Print of Freddy Mercury next to a print of a farm. The music choices when we were in rocked and were at the right volume. Nice!

Mojo has good, fresh, quality food. I tend to like a little more intense flavors, but definitely a good lunch spot.

The enchaladito was delicious. I got a mini and it was more than enough food. Guacamole was pretty bland, though.

I. Love. Mojo. The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff are always courteous and knowledgeable about the food. Lots of vegetarian options, and the food can easily be altered to your tastes. I LOVE getting the Enchiladito, but switching the chicken for vegetarian chili. A-ma-zing! Their guacamole is fantastic(very comparable to Chipotle) and the Veggie Wedgies are very yummy. Love!

Fresh, local produce makes this the best place to get a burrito in East Brainerd.

Not the best burrito ever, but it’s a big’un and packed full of fresh ingredients. It’s real food. Best of all, standard toppings — including guacamole — are included at no extra cost. Again, not the most unique or outstanding flavors but it’s a solid value for what you get. Oh yeah, free chips and salsa with your burrito purchase, too; the latter is quite kicky(a plus).
