Started not to eat here because of reviews but glad we did. Clean, great service and very good food. Loved the salsa.

Went for a family birthday lunch. There was only 2 other tables in the restaurant, however it was a long wait for our food. When it did come out, it came out a meal or two at a time over the course of 10 minutes.(We only had a party of 7) The sides were obviously canned, so I can’t imagine what took so long and although we had a ton of gifts, our server thought it best to sit and chat at the bar, versus busing our table. Also, most of the staff stood around watching themselves on a surveillance video. Seriously what was that about? I was a server for years, so this really chaps my tail. So needless to say, I will never recommend this place because of the lack of effort they put towards their guests. Far better, fresher, faster, respectful places to dine.

This is my least favorite Mexican in a city of average Mexicans. They just go through the motions here.

This is a very good Mexican restaurant on the edge of town. Reasonable prices and fresh food. This is not gourmet or chain Mexican food. They are very fresh and consistent.

Not worth the trip, inspite of mentioning a couple of times chicken no beef I was still served beef…

Service is always good and the food is well prepared. They have one of the best salsas in town as well. Only down sides are that it is popular and often crowded, with scarce parking. Overall a great place for Mexican food. Try the pollo picasa.

First time at this restaurant. Have eaten Mexican food all over the US, and I can ‘t remember a worse meal in a Mexican restaurant. Had a combo plate, with tamale, enchilada, and burrito. The latter two were composed of a wafer thin tortilla wrapped around excessive amounts of bland, unseasoned ground beef. The tamale was nothing short of bizarre. It had no firmness, with the masa totally mushy. And of course loads more of the bland ground beef dumped over the top of it. They had good chips and salsa, which was the only part of the meal I liked. Ten years in business serving this kind of food? I am puzzled by the positive reviews of this place.

The Sol special was fantastic. Food came out quickly and service was great. Chips and salsa had to be refilled several times with my friends and I. We loved it!

My wife and I visited here as soon as we moved to E. Brainerd. It’s very similar to Amigos. It’s casual Mexican food at a good price. We will definitely come back often.

This is a good Mexican restaurant. My wife is from SD California and she agrees that this is one of the best around here. Good beans, good service, and good environment. I recommend the chicken chimichangas. Enjoy!

Everyone has a favorite Mexican restaurant and this is mine in Chattanooga. The food is always fresh and hot and served with a smile by the staff. The prices are great and it appears to be ran by a local family which I like too. I even used them once for carry out for a larger group at Christmas. Yes we had Mexican over the holiday and it as great.

Food is terrible and very bland. Salsa is basically black pepper with sauce. Food used to be decent, not sure what happened but last two meals there have been disgusting. Taco was full of water that dripped all over the plate. Plan to never eat here again.
