So I’ve been here two times it’s a typical bar and grill so I don’t mind coming here I will come here too much in the future because I’m never give me the city again but overall it’s pretty good Tim

The Terminal is hot and cold, but it was good the other night when we visited. Got the hummus and split a calzone-type sammy with fillings for a Cuban sandwich. Although it didn’t say Cuban. Really good. Place was packed because of concerts at Track 29, Revelry Room and at Tivoli. A lot going on downtown. Also, STIR had over 100 reservations, so they were at capacity. So Terminal was very busy. But overall, Terminal is one of our city’s best. Good brew and reasonably priced.

This place never disappoints! Justin has a great beard and is a great bartender! Excellent quality food and awesome craft beer! Try the IPA! The buffaloaf and lamb burger are fabulous!

Food was mediocre at Best. Service was polite, but preoccupied. We had a party of about 7 people, and everyone’s meals came at three completely separate times. By the time the last people’s food came, the first group of food was already eaten 5 minutes before. The last persons food was dropped on its way out — and had to be re-prepard. We went in for a quick lunch, and ended up spending two hours in there. Environment/interior design is cool. And still better than most chains. But still, not the best experience. They did end up compensating two of the meals. Maybe it was a fluke, but that was my experince.

Outstanding atmosphere! Incredible service! Kristen was amazing, and very helpful! The Pot-roast Nacho appetizer was amazing. The Bison burger was on point and just as rare as I wanted it. Not to mention the house made Porter was full body and awesome! Will be back very soon!!!

What a great place in a fabulous location. I realize that converting old warehouse/auto repair/manufacturing spaces into retail, restaurant, or condo spaces is the trendy thing to do(fairy lights and rooftop gardens anyone?), but I love it. Love it. The Terminal Brewhouse is a nice example of such a phenomenon and they get it right, with this beautiful bar in a nice location. They offer a variety of craft beers on tap and we had a sampler flight, along with a slice of their rich chocolate cake with chocolate stout sauce. Delicious! The beers were great, and their dark stout was a great complement to the cake. Cake was amazing – rich and thick, but not too sweet or dense. Best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. I’m looking forward to coming back here and sampling the food too.

Went to Terminal during Head of the Hooch regatta with team members. There was an hour wait for a table of 8, expected for a busy Saturday night, but we enjoyed beers at the bar while we waited for a table. I had the light, wheat beer and it was one of the best craft beers I’ve had! Once seated(in a really cool corner table upstairs), we split the Mr. Frogs Super Happy Fun Journey, a perfect combination of the best appetizers with the best name ever! I also had the mushroom soup and herbivore stuffed sandwich. Both were excellent! The waitress did a great job keeping our drinks full and keeping everyone happy! I also appreciated the manager coming by after our food was served to check on our status. A really great dinner experience and I’m excited to go back next year!

Coming from Los Angeles I have to admit that I had a little bit of hesitancy in going to have dinner at a brewhouse here in Tennessee. I was honestly expecting great brew but the food over took the awesome freshness of this craft brewed deliciousness and tantalized my taste buds with bison chili, bison meatloaf and a margarita pizza dough that made me smile and want more If and when I’m coming back to Chattanooga.(Which I love and have many fond memories of when we lived in Atlanta and used to drive our girls up here for the weekend just to see their aquarium) I’ll be coming here. Maybe a rest in LA soon guys! Oh and don’t forget to order some Chattanooga whiskey!!!

This review was sparked by our 2nd visit. Our 1st visit was only for drinks, the beer was great and the whiskey was a generous pour! A great first experience! Round 2: Sunday lunch, last night was Halloween and boy can you see last night’s partying on most of the staffs’ faces. Slow, sluggish service. No smiles, not too friendly and as a kicker, we waited 10 minutes for a hostess to even come up to us and seat us. Food: Both myself and my girlfriend had the FuFu sandwhich, the chicken was dry and the sandwhich underwhelming. The chuck norris slaw was pretty awesome though. Atmosphere: pretty sweet brewery Service: terrible

Very nice place in Chattanooga. We only stayed one night in Chattanooga while traveling from Nashville to Atlanta. The airbnb host in Nashville suggested this place to us and I am really happy he did! As I love different beers, was very happy to get a sampler of the different beers they have. Was quite surprised with the price for the sampler: I thought it was quite cheap for the amount I got.

Over two years ago when we came to check out Chattanooga prior to committing to a job transfer here, we met a gentleman on the downtown shuttle that highly recommended The Terminal Brewery to us. Of course we never did eat there until today when we got a same day invitation to join a group visiting from Murfreesboro for the day. They set up an outside table for thirteen of us today on a beautiful September afternoon. The atmosphere was oh so nice. The service was very good as well as the wheat beer that I drank. I had the stuffed sandwich that was similar to a Cuban and I liked it. My wife and kids had the pizza and were pleased. I think everyone in the group was happy and all agreed it was a great choice. We won’t wait another two years to return. Maybe not even two months.

The Terminal Brewhouse knocked my socks off! I had lived in Chattanooga for several years, but apparently this tasty establishment has opened since I left. After a group of 10+ of us went to the Tennessee Aquarium, we decided to have lunch here. We were taken up to the second floor and seated at a massive table squeezed into the corner of the front of the restaurant. Though we barely fit, it was the perfect place for a large group to sit. We started with a couple appetizers — The John Deereman’s Lunch and BrewHouse Pot Roast Nachos — that were both very good. We were all starving and politely fought over the morsels. I ordered the Summer Solstice Salad with Chicken which I enjoyed. Strawberries and goat cheese on a salad are always a good idea! In addition to enjoying the food, our waiter was one of the best waiters that I’ve ever had in my life. I wish that I remembered his name because I would give him credit here! I can’t wait to return to Chattanooga to have another meal at this restaurant.

A great place to stop at while in Chattanooga. I’m from Atlanta and currently live in Nashville so Chattanooga is often a spot we stop for dinner. The Terminal Brewhouse hits the spot for good, inexpensive food. I had a pizza once that was very tasty although not very memorable. On the past occasion, my husband and I split the appetizer sampler. It was an INSANE amount of food but all very tasty. The beers we have tried(while roadtripping so not a whole lot!) have been good as well. This is a solid joint.

One of the first things you notice about The Terminal Brewhouse is it’s location. It is located on the same side of the street and is a neighbor to the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The second thing is notice is that it’s a wonderful old brick building. When you enter the building you will be pleased to see that they have kept the décor perfect for the building. There is lots of old wood, with a cozy bar and exposed brewing tanks. The space is used perfectly and steps lead up to even more seating upstairs. It’s one of those places that makes me wish I lived closer to it because I could see easily going here a lot to just sit and have a beer. Having said that, I don’t really go here for the beer. Yes, the beer is good, but there are lots of places to get good beers around town. What there aren’t a lot of are places to get a good beer and a good sandwich. I come here for the Fru Fru sandwich. Yes, it is a bit Fru Fru and not what you would expect in a brew pub. It is chicken that has been glazed with their copper ale, topped with fresh apple slices, bacon and then brie. It is wonderful. Another thing I like is the option to get sweet potato fries. They go perfectly with this sandwich. My husband gets the Short Rib Sammy. This is another winner with braised short ribs, grilled tomatoes, gouda cheese, candied red onions and spinach on a local hoagie. Again, not your typical brewpub food! He also gets the sweet potato fries. A great place to have a beer and eat some extra good pub food!

WELOVETHISPLACE. This was recommended to us when we stayed at a Bed and Breakfast when we stayed on Lookout Mountain. The pot roast nachos are great. I love their beers, especially Belgian wheat. My favorite thing is the Rugged Individualist, which is just a fancy pepperoni pizza. The crust is from a local bakery, and it’s fantastic. My favorite part of a pizza is the crust, so I was really into this pizza. The slice is thin and cheesy, but the crust is doughy and cooked well. This is a very family friendly restaurant, but it’s very crowded, so expect a wait!

I loved this brewhouse. It was a stop on a road trip and I’m so glad we checked it out. The beer was awesome and the food was just as good. It’s a very cool atmosphere and there is a lot of artwork to check out.

If only one restaurant was still standing in Chattanooga, I hope it would be this one. Everything they make is fantastic. One of the best burgers, the best salads, amazing appetizers, the best craft beer, and strangely enough, one of the best pizzas in town. I’m serious. Good outdoor seating area as well. Consider trying the hummus or the pizza rolls for an appetizer, and the West By God, a Stuffed Sandwich, or a pizza for the main course. For beer, the Magnum is a fantastic IPA and I’ve never know anyone who was disappointed in their Belgian White. Doing some quick math, I have probably eaten here over 80 times

Mmmm… pot roast nachos. Tortilla chips smothered in queso with tender pot roast, tomatoes and onions? Yes, please. Well, maybe not the onions, at least not the kind that they use. Raw red onions are a bit too harsh… overwhelms everything else. Otherwise, Mmmm… I approve. Pot roast… *drool*. Time for a sammich, a Macho Man sammich. A Cajun-seasoned chicken breast topped with hot sausage, pepperjack, Cajun mayo, and regular fixin’s on a bun. You might get heartburn, but hey — it’s worth it. Suck it up, Buttercup! Let’s take it up another notch by adding chipotle whisky baked beans as a side. Holy fire farts, Batman! Made for a tasty, manly meal. Now all I need is a beer… Well, uh, look at that! I’ve got a house-brewed Maibock in hand. I can now«Rock out with my Bock out». A manly meal without bacon all over it? You impress me, Terminal Brewhouse… you impress me. My wife enjoyed a sammich too. The Poplar Stroll is pulled pork, bbq sauce, and Chuck Norris slaw piled high on a bun. Tender and tangy pork. Crunchy slaw with a badass name. Approved. I really dig the brewhouse atmosphere here too. My kind of place.

I came here originally expected some great house-made beer. What I didn’t expect was that the food is some of the best I’ve had. Most recently, I had the Philosopher’s Burger with braised cabbage on a cold late fall day. The burger was lamb with greek spices, feta aioli, and candied red onions on a Niedlov’s bun. Holy cow, it’s a simple construction but it’s flavor is so deep, unique, and well-rounded that it creates a burger that takes you back to the second you taste it when you remember the flavor. Pros: Good to great beer brewed in house. Great food! I can’t say this enough. It’s great food! Cons: Sometimes there’s a little long of a wait and limited seating. Overall: This is one of my favorite spots in Chattanooga and in my opinion, the best sandwiches and beer in Chattanooga. Unique flavors, good beer, fun atmosphere. Enjoy!

Awesome Venue, but be prepared to wait on the weekend. Hungry from climbing and exploring the Chattanooga Area we decided to eat at the terminal because of all the awesome reviews. Well so did everyone else in Chattanooga. Our wait was about 45mins, so walked around the area and toured the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The Terminal is 3 stories tall with seating on each level. There is only 1 bar on the ground level, and it is a nightmare to navigate through. The good beer has brought in Entitled Sheik Hipster crowd, so you have to punch your way through the mass of beanies and flannels to get to your seat. That was the most negative experience. The building is very cool, a neat wedge shape. the food was nice and they crate to the local scene, but sourcing a lot of bread, meats, etc, from, other local businesses. Things to do: Get a Flight of Beers, well priced Get«THESOUP» — it is pure awesome, on a cold night And try to sit on the 2⁄3rd floors. Also feel for the staff, they have to bring everything up the stairs. there is no dumb waiter system here.
