They need some help. 8 people standing in line 1 person working the counter. Manager sitting in photo area looking at papers. Oblivious to how many people were in line. Very disappointed in customer service.

Worst Walgreens I’ve ever visited. The other day; one of the pharmacy workers was chewing her gum with her mouth open like a cow chewing cud. It was absolutely disgusting and obnoxious. The only experience I’ve ever had at this location, that was pleasant, was going in at 3AM on Sunday morning. The pharmacist was friendly and completed my prescription in a couple of minutes. I have to call the location over and over in order to get them to resend the prescription to insurance for payment where other locations I have visited took care of the issue quickly. It’s not uncommon to have a multi-hour wait and generally the drive-through takes anywhere between 15 – 30 minutes to get through. Often, they only have 1 employee manning the drive-through, even though they have 2 car lanes. I’ve personally had to wait 40 minutes one day. To me, the issue seems to be multi-pronged. Lack of employees, hiring employees who have limited English skills(must ask them to repeat their questions or they can’t understand what I am saying), and employees who are not professional in demeanor or actions. If you can, avoid this location. Go to Hixson or Brainerd road.

The slowest ever! Warning! If you really need meds for your 83 year old mother, who is crying she is in such pain… They take all day!!!

There was a wait but it’s a pharmacy and people have questions(some people don’t just take what a doctor prescribes with out being provided more information by a pharmacist because they are more educated on pharmaceutical drugs and understand why you are taking it and how it works). For the guy that complained about the wait time, walk your big butt inside like I do when there is a line and you won’t be there so long, and as far as the English goes they do speak very clear spoken English, honestly to get through pharmacy school they had too. If you don’t like culture then lock yourself up in the house and don’t go anywhere. When the foreign doctor saves your life in the ER but you can’t understand some of the words(very few of them) that he is saying you won’t complain!

Having just moved to the area and living close to this Walgreens, we transferred all our prescriptions to this locations. The store itself is great and well lighted and clean. the Pharmacy is another problem. The service takes forever, the people working drive through barely speak English and the speaker system breaks and cracks. Luckily we are moving all our Medicine needs to the East Brainerd location! They aren’t as busy and so far everyone speaks ENGLISH!

I normally wouldn’t give 5 stars to a Walgreens, but this one is really exception in both service and selection, not to mention that they are open 24 hrs. I was in there around 6am and the woman at the register was so bright and cherry. She greeted me as soon as I came in. Another man offered to help me find anything I needed. They have a good sized food section as well(I was staying across the street at the Embassy Suites to this was kind of my mini grocery store during my stay).
