There was a nice gray horse from the horse farm next door greeting us when we arrived, and that was the most exciting part of our stay. The biscuit and breakfast burrito were fine. Unfortunately when we arrived at our room it was not ready and was filled with trash. We were then moved to a different room. The staff was very disorganized, but they were apologetic for their mistakes. The situation was rather awkward. Additionally there were also a variety of flying insects in our room.

This place was a really necessary stop. And to be honest since it was so late at night we were a little nervous. As the scenery reminded my wife and I of old Jason Vorheez movies. BUT! This place was really nice. The staff is incredibly nice. Very helpful and just down right friendly. I think we were the only ones in the whole place as its a lake resort style type of place, and it was freezing during our stay. The rooms mare decent. For the price you can’t beat it. I would come back here. What would seal the deal is if they offered a continental breakfast.

I stayed here with my family for a week and we had the greatest time. The couple that run the inn were so helpful! When we asked about things to do they had pamphlets and information. They kept breakfast cereal fruit and pastries stocked every morning. Lastly my daughter and niece fell in love with a toy doll house in the lobby so they put it in our room for the duration of our stay so the girls could play with it. They went above and beyond and we will definitely be back next year. The area is very quiet and peaceful and close to the highway.
