Really poor salesman. Im an out of state homeowner and as such rely heavily on electronic media to make improvements to my home. This guy became rude and beligerant when I began texting him, requesting an estimate via email. I explained im not there to meet in person, he replied via text«we dont do business thru text or email.» I then had my renter contact Mike to write an estimate in person, but Mike never returned his call… I wonder how much business they are losing because of this 19th century attitude… anyway I have contacted Lowes at my residence location to go to my rental in Buffalo to write an estimate. Likely will be cheaper. I try to use locals wherever possible except when they make my life miserable!

My wife and I had windows installed during the summer of 2013. Overall I would say that it was a good experience and I would recommend them as a company to friends and family members. Overall the actual product seems in line with other windows in the price range, at least based on their literature, every company claiming to be the best makes it hard to know. I haven’t noticed as drastic a change in my utilities or comfort as I expected, actually almost no difference at all other than upstairs is a little warmer. I think this is likely due to heat loss physically through the walls of my house as they are actually cold to the touch in some places. I personally would be extremely cautious to expect a utility decrease that any window manufacturer advertises. Pros: –Nice Windows that really improved the look of my home. –Complete installation included in the price quote, the guys had to completely rebuild the framing around one of my windows, something I almost expected to be charged for. –Low pressure salesman -**Locally owned company that installs a locally manufactured product.** This was actually what made us choose them over another company that was a couple hundred bucks cheaper. –Installation was done by a couple of nice guys, took shoes off before coming in the house every single time, and cleaned up as well as can be expected. –Only use their own employees with no subcontractors. –Really good warranty, double check on this, but I think it was lifetime with 10 yrs of it transferable. Cons: *The more I think about these the more they irritate me, but I still think the pros outweigh the cons. –Salesman was late on both visits to my house, nearly an hour each time, he was a really nice guy or that could have been a complete deal breaker alone. –Salesman made several promises that never happened 1) Basically offered a free window for my garage, after I asked if they had a really cheap way to fill a hole there and he said they could save it from another project or something and stick it in, never heard from him after writing the check. 2) Told that they would place a yard sign which they basically paid to put there for a month, never got a sign and missed out on the $ 50 to $ 200 we were told was basically a guarantee. –Called about a window not closing properly on a weekend, told we would get a call back Monday to have someone come out, never heard from them. I have side-by-side sliding windows almost everywhere and somehow one of them wasn’t in the track properly, so it ended up being an error that I fixed myself. In closing, the product and installation went well and I would recommend using this company. However, support after they got their money was lacking, something I think you expect from contractors of all varieties.
