Everyone seems to rant and rave about this place but I guess I didn’t see the obsession. Everything was good, but nothing that blew my socks off. Would eat here again if the person I was with was dying to go but wouldn’t go on my own. Bread is definitely fresh though and was good!

I live right around the corner, so i finally decided to give it a try. I foolishly ordered the large meatball sub on a sesame seed bun. for $ 10 and change you get a fairly larger sub, easily two meals. the meatballs were ok, i do like the beef and pork mix. the marinara sauce wasn’t good at all and the girl didn’t put enough on. i asked for mozzarella cheese. this is where part of the problem lies, the cold cheese slices are put on the bun first, with the warm meatballs onto. to make a good meatball sub, meatballs and sauce go on first, then you put the cheese on top, then you melt it. I’m hoping that the other half tastes better cold at work tomorrow. FYI, Nino’s in West Seneca or Hamburg, they have a great meatball sub.

I randomly picked this place while on the way to the airport and was surprisingly delighted! I ordered the God Father with provolone, grilled. I got a pickle as a side! This was a fantastic sandwich, and pickle! DiBella’s has some other locations and I will keep an eye when visiting the area. The sandwich was meltly, salty and something I will dream about. The place its self is cute, clean with friendly people.

Clean, friendly, and good food. A little pricey, however, you het what you pay for. We used to go to subway… no more! We are Dibellas fans now!

I’m from Denver in town for a week, needless to say I don’t know where to eat that’s not a chain. Unilocal reviews pointed me here and they weren’t wrong. 10 bux got me a «medium» sandwich, cookie, and drink. All the food was great. Would have been 5 stars, but the young lady behind the counter could’ve used a personality.

Holy cow! Can we please rename Philly Cheesesteak to Buffalo Cheesesteak. From the bread to the meat, everything was amazing! You can’t beat the price anywhere! I will definitely miss this place. A MUSTHAVEFORALLFOODIESOUTTHERE!

Not great and not bad– I was expecting more of an east coast deli– old school type of great deli sandwich. As I live in the Hoboken area– it would appear that I’m spoiled.

Stopped here for lunch right around noon. I haven’t been here in about a year and I see some things have been updated. It looks like they are trying to differentiate from other more basic sub places and it looks nice! Seems like they are featuring grilled subs and other hot subs like Buffalo Chicken, Philly Steak, etc. I stuck with the traditional cold sub this time. I like that they come in 3 different sizes. I got the small and that is like your traditional half size. I love then old style feel of the restaurant. I did not eat-in here this time but I have before. It looks clean and orderly. The only thing I would change is that the line up to order sort of crowds near the door to come in. I had to crowd around some guys looking at their cellphones to get out. All the counter staff were friendly and then lady I had was efficient and double checked my order. I opted for the Old Fashioned(turkey, ham, salami) on the multi grain. The bread was excellent. Most places that have multi grain/wheat breads, they either taste like or have the texture of cardboard but this bread was soft and flavorful, but wasn’t like white with a little bit of wheat tossed in so it was one shade darker in color. The meat was pretty good but I found the ham a little salty. I like having a good amount of mayo and oil, but it had nearly leaked through the paper wrapper and sub bag. The veggies I got were fresh and plentiful. I made it a combo with a cookie and pop. I picked up the chocolate chip walnut cookie and it was really good and freshly made. They also had newer selections of a white chocolate macadamia nut or oatmeal raisin. The register attendant fills up your pop themselves from a fountain so I am guessing if you are eating in, you can’t get a refill before you leave. Capping pop amounts seems to be the new thing everywhere. Good choice for a fast and filling lunch. I will be back!

They have REALLYGOODSUBS!(and cookies) I ordered to go, and the only down side was that the submakers were all girls who either hadn’t been trained on, or were too young to use the grill so it caused a back up. The size of the subs for the price you pay is well worth it! The quality of meats and the bread they use, oh so yummy. I want one now!

+ Excellent old fashioned subs, good quality meats and freshly baked rolls — Not cheap. Operating hours, they close far too early. I like this place. It feels like a diner inside, very old school décor. Unfortunately they are never open late. I think the latest I have seen them open is 10:00pm. So, this is not a place for a late night snack. The quality of meats here is very high, and in turn, so are the prices. They do load on several layers of meat, so you always get get a thick meaty sub. The turkey sub is one of my favorites. I like the different types of rolls they bake which always seem to be fresh. But, you have to like crusty bread, and these rolls are the big boys! Lots of cheese options as well: cheddar, provolone, american, and swiss. The staff making the subs are always friendly. I like how they will make your sub any which way without question. If it will take them more than a minute, they give you a number so you can sit down and relax. It’s not on the menu, but they will make you a Steak Sub consisting of freshly fried steak, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, raw onions – superb. Offering a variety of different side salads and yummy baked chocolate chip cookies(with walnuts or without) are a nice touch!

I would love DiBella’s way more if they offered some sort of protein that isn’t processed food… but it’s a sub shop, so what can I expect? That aside, the veggie subs are super delicious. The bread is always really, really fresh and they have lots of options to dress up your sub. They have a great system at all their locations to get you in and out really fast, and the prices are super reasonable. Definitely a better option than subway or whatever other chain sandwich shop you’re considering!
